Has anyone tried this fork? It's reynolds, it has fair price, unfortunately no lowrider mount... -

I like the idea of making this single speed commuter.

I'm well tempted to get the corresponding frame as a stopgap for my broken titanium frame situation.

Could anyone recommend an 1/8th carbon time trial fork (caliper brake & QR)?

recommend an 1/8th carbon time trial fork
The narrowest steerer I'm aware of is ¾" on some Look bayonet style forks 🙂

I reckon these are pretty close the 1/8"
Looks like a quill stem though... :-S -

Any recommendations for the front light? I need it to ride in the country lanes in the dark, USB chargeable battery, around 1.5h on a maximum setting?

GaCIROn have come up a few times on here.
https://gaciron.aliexpress.com/store/2906009?.
Go for doval. Their "5g" are basically round (unless you fancy being adventurous, 4g is my fave) and they're pretty good for the price. I think the graphics can be acetoned off but haven't tried.
I've had a few sets on a couple of different bikes and haven't ever broken any. They used to do ebay auctions starting at a quid or so, I won a few sets at weird times of day for £2 or £3 plus £7 shipping so I'd just let the entire drive train wear horribly together and replace the lot after a few thousand miles. They'd last a lot longer if I changed the chain more regularly, I imagine.
