I had no problem with Revs but I know some people have, due to the twist.

ah, I can imagine. I'm always pretty careful about twisting back every time I turn the nipples.

In the new year I want to build up a tarck/track/race/bling/whatever wheelset so currently I'm thinking
Mack LF track hubs/Sapim CX-Ray/23mm wide 50mm deep crabon clinchers.

Not in a situation to have one of the other at the moment so they'll need to be wheels I can use on the road too, can just switch tyres.

That being said I do already have a disc and 4 spok for 'racing' should I choose to race track.

also; tricky, how?
I found revs quite lovely to work with. They wind up about twice as much as Comps
This.
It was a rushed build, and I got myself into a mess. Wheels are great now. -

I've got a brand new, never been used wheelset, Novatec 11 speed Shimano rear hub and lightweight front, double butted DT spokes (I think, I'll check which ones they are) to 20mm carbon clinchers.
Alex at Fitsrovia Cycles built them this Monday just past, but I'm tempted to sell them before I use them in order to get some tubs.
Anyone interested in them?

Excuse ignorance and unwillingness to google. Can one bung a standard shim/SRAM ten on that hub?

Yes, with a spacer.

-
• #2375
Yes, tubs are much better for skidding.
They wind up about twice as much as Comps
