what happened there? Why no bike still?
Ryan broke a rib mountain biking about a month ago, I don't think he's able to work on it until that's healed.

Around £580 for a nud scout + shipping. Is that cheap? What's a Ebay Chinese Certain Death carbon frame usually cost?
More like £540 + shipping if you order it without paint. Sounds pretty decent to me.

Melted rim :(
Shit!

Shit!
Its like that in 3 separate places. I pumped the tyre up to 130 PSI, and throw the wheel around the work room. It did'nt blow out. So I'm riding it, and avioding heating the rim further.
What pisses me off. Is that I went through 4 latex inners trying to get a tyre to stay on my cxp33s, and neither tyre or rim had any visual defects. This rims bead lock looks likes a melted curly-whirly, and the tyre sits solid. bah.

And you want another?

And you want another?
I'm going tubular, with a high temp braking surface.
The rear rim is being built into the world blingest turbo trainer wheel.

Can I have the front one?

Also if you fucked up the clincher watch out your tubular tyres don't de-bond.

Can I have the front one?
Sure. I rate it unrideable though. Might make a nice mirror frame, or 3 fancey coat hangers.
You'll need to pay postage from Norway though.

That should be a lot less likely.

I'm thinking show bike lol, any idea on postage?

Oh yes way less likely but you know, it's a possibility and I'm sure oyu wouldn't want two rim failures :P

Probably loads. Postal costs in Norway are like everything else, very expensive.
Might be able to get it to london by other means I guess. I'll look into it.

Should be cheaper if you cut it into quarters to make coat hangers, no?
-
• #2019
I was think thirds.
Do you even lift........
-
• #2020
Get your tape measure out; quarters will be right for coat hangers.
