I brought one about two weeks ago, still waiting for it to be delivered, it will eventually come I hope. No grumble as it has travelled a long distance.

Get yourself some good rechargables, it munches batteries in the constant setting.

I have an oriental cheap Cree torch. Very bright, but it rattles a bit and often switches the mode by itself when going over a speed bump. I used some tin foil to pack it up tighter.
Recharcheable AA from China? You will burn your house down. I used to have some no brands rechargeables and the charger stopped working at some point. It would juts heat up a lot.

I'ver ordered some of those lights.

me too - £5.60

The front is a good light. The rear is a bit crap in general, the only reason I use it now is because of the novelty of the strobe it has, which reminds me of a Cylon from Battlestar Galactica... /geek

they can't be worse than my blackburn flea's, blackburn voyager/mars or crappy little knogs. I'm so sick of spending money on shit lights. At least if these conk out they're only a fiver to replace.

I love my Blackburn Flea set. They've served me well for over 2 years now.

The lid of my Blackburn keeps popping out. It's fairly new.

It's a little difficult to understand who the supplier is, but from what I understand the 56mm pair are these:

what are reviews of the uniq hubs like?
-
• #140
If I could find one I'd have an opinion to repeat!
Should you come across one please let me know.
I got them because they looked ok, truth be told- and this is all an experiment really.
Basically they are £230 cheaper than Tune, more like £300 if you include skewers.
Hopefully they'll be here this week and I'll get some photographs up.

as long as the freewheel makes a really nice clacky noise I'm sold - my rovals are disappointingly quiet, even though they do have quite a nice 'oval' sound*
*look, it just sounds like an oval, OK?

reviews of the 'Rotaz' hubs are not too good (similarly priced, similar weight import hub). hope these are better, I'm tempted to build some new road wheels around them.

nice and loud though, if that's your thing.

I've got the opposite. I'm used to the soothing sound of Campagnolo. The Hope hub my Zipp is laced to is vulgar and obnoxious. If the Chinese stuff is as noisy, I'm out.

• #146
which is generally considered better, hubs that you can hear or hubs you can't hear?
-
• #147
Noisy hubs scare wildlife, they are therefore inferior.

I don't think the resident of the Isle of Man can be considered wildlife Andy.
