  • Also, infinity do a pack of 4 burgers for 95p, they're vegan and more delicious than any of the expensive ones. Gave them to lots of carnivores and they've always gone down a treat.

  • I don't blame Mrs Kaos at all. The idea of making veggie burgers for 100 hungry polo players is an unenviable task...

  • shall i get onto Infinity, and see if i can get us some vegan discount?

  • Sounds great.

Do you not have to be vegan to get that?

  • Danny - you got repped by your nan for having your ass on FB. Naughty boy.

  • She loves it..

  • Back on topic - Urban hunter have emailed me their logo and have promised to send their prize donation through. Where are we at with the spoke card/flyer design. I can forward the logo to whoever is doing the design, its .psd or something weird x

  • We need the design ASAP if we want to get it through repographics in time.

  • Steve and me are playing in our team Floating T(h)urd...and we need a t(h)urd player, PM me if you want in

  • Prize donation from urban hunter = 4 t-shirts and a tube of anti-saddle sore cream.

  • Post-polo meeting tomorrow? We can do it at my yard if people want.

  • Sounds good for the meeting after polo...I've also got the Cranks bi-weekly meeting so I may have to shoot off early.

  • Why not just have it quickly at PP straight after polo? I'll be riding back to the landrover in saltdean so the less faffing the better as far as I'm concerned. Julian can get away quicker then too.

  • That works.

  • Got another prize:

A voucher for a 36 pint polypin of Sussex Best bitter. Good?

  • So good

  • So Good, Its got my name on it.

  • Big win. how did you wrangle that?

  • Just asked, said there would be over 100 people, lots of internet attention/write up thanking them, sunny day and thirsty men and said could they help with anything.

  • Fixed And What said they will give us some goodies for prizes, couple of t shirts and some stickers!

  • James from national series and the Cambridge guys are against the no cheater mallet rule. What do people think?

  • Define the cheater mallet and we'll talk. I'm thinking large side cutouts that would facilitate jointing are out?

  • As a local rule, I like it. We don't use them and this is a tournament hosted by us. That said, we are opening our doors to teams from europe and must accept that it's a different game in different places. shall I float the idea on the tournament thread?

  • I don't really mind either way. I can't see what advantage is gained from using a "cheater" mallet except easier ball joints. We all know how to counter that tactic now so it may be a bit moot.
