Sounds good i will fish about for a third

  • I could play for you in emergency, only started the other week and need to practice, lots!

  • Ten balls ordered.

  • making something nice to give away as a prize.possibly prints or possibly a shield made out of paper. (depends on how attached i get when i'm making it)

  • Is there gonna be something like a bbq?
    Photo's/filmings.

  • There are a few of us with cameras so we should be able to document things pretty well between us.

  • I've a friend that works for some media company who thinks he'll be down to do a write up on us....I feel we may be stars in the making, lol!

  • Stickers! We need 'Brighton polo' stickers to dish out...and a megaphone/PA to maintain control over proceedings...don't we?

  • I'm on it with stickers and maybe t-shirts....stickers..you can buy sheets of A4 vinyl stickys for inkjets from e-bay for around 2-3 quid for 10 sheets...t-shirts...my friend does screenprinting and can be sourced for team shirts!! Just come up with a design and you're away!!

  • I can borrow a megaphone.

We need another meeting to make sure we're not doubling up on all these bits and bobs.

Either when I'm back next Monday or without me after polo on Wed.

People in Cardiff are stoked about it!

  • We need a team name before we can come up with a t shirt design. Megaphone=perfect. what's happening with food and stuff? Are we laying on a spread for the out o' towners? Wasn't there talk of a BBQ? Chantal, my lovely wife, said she'd be up for sorting it out for us if we can give her a budget etc. We've got a mate with a half oil drum barbie we might be able to borrow too.

  • BBQ sounds rad.

  • Surely with a certain level of haranguing we could get butchers/Brighton sausage co/red veg. to supply us with some free meats, snags, vegansies?
I'm always ready to get ma' hustle on...

  • red veg has closed down, so will need something different for vegan/veggies

  • WTF when did that happen, I was there like last week...

  • yeah, it was really sudden, haven't been by since, so don't know whats going on with it atm

  • Would probably be easier just to keep it veggie/vegan to stop any of the aneamic fuckers moaning about meat contamination. I'm carnivore through and through but can happily eat non meat at a BBQ. Would be cheaper if we ended up having to buy it in too.

    +1

  • I'm on that. Can we hit up a kitchen for bulk order of good quality veggie/vegan burgers.

Joshiboy works in the Setting Sun kitchen and we've ordered stuff through them before.

  • I'll speak to the chef tonight about putting in an order

  • Without committing her and having not spoken to her yet, Chani might be up for making them herself. I'm not sure what she'd need or how much work's involved, but I can ask. If it's a yes, they'll be way better than anything you can buy in frozen. We've got a chest freezer here so can make them in advance. Josh, can you ask about ordering bread rolls and stuff for salads too? Might just be easier to go to Tescos?

  • I'm always up for catering trade stuff. Quality is better and prices much lower plus much less packaging.

I'll be putting in order through our uni food co-op and can put some extra salad stuff on the order.

  • Ok. if we can source frozen veggie/vegan fodder, that would be preferable. She's up for doing skewers/salads etc, but can't be arsed with the whole burger/snags scenario, and who can blame her?? Fair play.

I've got some really good burger recipes if you need them.
