So are any of the actual protagonists from 5th floor crew going to respond or are we just left to speculate?
My abiding memory of Johnny Fitz has always makes me chuckle. The double inverse nominative determinism of a less than athletic man whose bike was so clearly the wrong size (but it did have twin spoks) on a Brighton ride was comedy genius.
I'm not sure any of those involved should respond even if they wanted to... if police are actually looking into it the best they can do is settle down and STFU and co-operate with the police.
We're left speculating, but ultimately the only thing that matters is this: No violence should've happened, and anyone who participated in it in any way (regardless of who the aggressor was) should face the consequences and it shouldn't be ignored.
My problem with hippy closing the thread earlier is that we're liable to just ignore this as another piece of London's Famous London cultural history. An act of violence within the wider community isn't something that should be ignored.

This is my new crew's logo. Who's in?

Velocio, I can see what you're saying, but personally I think the thread should be closed, as I'm not sure this counts as an act of violence in the wider community at all. Your call though buddy :)

Shit, I thought Loic was just this mild mannered French gentle giant who's into classic French and English period bikes, wears a cape and smokes a pipe. But obviously he has another life.
This is what I thought for a long time, had no idea Loic liked trix.

WIle he may be an annoying troll on the interwebz, I have met loic in real life and hes a nice guy. There is no way what happened should have resulted in violence+1 Like I said I dont condone his behaviour but in person hes a really nice guy.

Maybe there's a whole underground fetish thing going on.
Perhaps ordinary, law abiding forumengers are getting together in multi story car parks after dark and throwing some sweet bar spins.

more trick beef:
I can see how this gets out of hand, I once felt like punching someone who worked some Linda Mcartney fake sausages into a fry-up without telling us.

I spent literally 5 solid hours trying to beat M Bison on the hardest difficulty setting on Street Fighter II for the SNES. Never managed it. Got so wound up I thumped my mum in the face.

I did seriously consider it for a moment. I was always suspicious about how he broke his downtube, could of sworn I saw him jumping a 7 set the other day.

I managed to beat M Bison, the trick is to get stuck into him quickly. What was the next level after your mum?

-
• #125
so really whatever the out come, we probably wont know for a while yet.
did someone mention beef, hambush and veg stew?...
I would have thought skinny jeans and plimsoles, would be worse.
Does all remind me of hanging around in a 'crew', carrying our own bit of vinyl flooring around, for lame attempts at break dancing.
I was 12 though. How old are the 5th floor crew? Could this be settled with some lines and detentions?
