  • just be a bike shop, with knowledgeable, friendly staff, a good mechanic, a good vibe, a willingness to make every cyclist feel welcome.....in short be unique in London, welcome the carbon roadie, the fixie skidders, the commuters, the weekend riders.....that would be amazing.

  • ^ no nodders or hipsters tho?

  • Nanolights please and a 29er built up in 19.5".

  • this is great news, i'd love to try a pomp.

  • I think Dammit's idea is interesting.

  • Decent dual brake levers
    Polo mallets
    Red balls

the LHBPA (balls, poles) and/or Rik (levers, poles, mallets) can help you with this.

  • Any jobs going in this super sounding store...?

  • Just reply to those emails like everyone else. 3" extra, guaranteed.

3"? fuck that, I want the full 40cm

  • Cheapo PX campag road hubs in a 'cross friendly tub rim drilling (ie, 32 or 36. not 24)

  • Hey. We just found out that we'll have secure inside parking for up to 6 bikes. Great news and a secure tethering sport for your beloved steed...

how long until the ti 29er frame is launched, do you have geometry specs finalised yet?

is there going to be a straight (ie not tapered) steerer carbon fork or is the new fork just for the carbon frame?

  • ^haha

presume 'steel horse' is fine though

YouTube - Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead Or Alive

  • Please don't refer to bikes in the shop as steeds.

    Or whips.

Acceptable terms are "ride", "wheels" and "bike" or "bicycle" of course.

Using the brand name of the bike is also acceptable, but not the model ("My Create", for example, not "My Create Sack'o'Shit").

    steed rocks!

  • Acceptable terms are "ride", "wheels" .

acceptable if you're starring in the Cannonball Run, perhaps.

  • And who wouldn't want to be?

  • Lots and lots of lovely tools that i can gaze over and wonder if i should buy a specific type of bottom bracket just so i can get an even more specific tool to fit it, another for servicing it, and possibly a spare of each just in case. Ooo, and some decent tyre levers (not the shitty park ones)

Ti 29ers are due in May, in short and long travel. Only our forthcoming "Race" rigid carbon fork will have a tapered steerer- the other, designed to match the "Lurcher" frame, will have a standard steerer.

  • Prancer earlier

  • As many of each frame sizes as possible so that you can stand over it, and try a frame on for size. Even just old knackered "tester" frames made up with cast off bits.

Or alternatively, a jig like Condor have, so that you can get advised on the best size frame/geometry, rather than just "Well, you look like a large, I reckon".

  • There's really no need for 29 ers.

    There never really was.

  • They make people look really really small.

  • When do you plan to open?

bought my current felt f55 roadbike from bicycle magic

  • There's really no need for 29 ers.

    There never really was.

Mental note to add 29ers to the long list of things that RPM thinks are useless/inane/despicable.

  • May have been mentioned before but lots and lots of your carbon deep section, yes we're talking 88mm here kids, rims. And please start making them in 32hole, we're not all 3 stone piss wet thru roadies and track hubs are a fucker to find in anything other than 32/36hole, especially since you've discontinued your on-one 24h hubs (why?!)

Slightly sarcy, but in all seriousness deep carbon rims will sell like hotcakes.

  • +1 on all polo related suggestions.

    ETA of shop is?
