  • At the moment, not in the slightest. But I may change my mind.

  • I was thinking of coming, but i can't.. so here's a visual palindrome

you've got to ride from liverpool street anyway...

  • if I ride back that will be two 80 mile days in a row. after work. :I

  • TNRC 11/10/11 for those that like symmetry. Essex route trains from liverpool street 19:18 arrives at ingatestone 19:45
last train home 23:02 (there is a 23:05 but it takes an hour to get to liv st)
    Route: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/TNRC-Essex-with-left-turn

    List:
Stuff lists eveyone bed wets anyway.

Down with the list makers and all who subscribe to them. Who's with me?

    1. 20.
  • I have said "fuck the list" before, and I will say it again...

actually ingatestone is much further out than i had reckoned. fuck riding back. i was thinking of e4 ecstacy which is much closer :-)

train out and back for me then! unless i am feeling fruity at the end... unlikely tbh.

  • is like 23 miles. i looked yesterday.
i may be slow too as i am a bit ovegear and is quite windy, forgot to change the cog

That's what I did, was all up for riding out and back then realised it's actually really quite a long way for a week night!

As it is, I feel like death warmed up today for some reason, and have managed to do nearly everything wrong (I discovered a few hours ago I'd put my pants on inside out, for example) so it's not looking very likely I'll be along sadly. If I miraculously recover I'll be at LS.

  • sadly i am going to be sensible and follow Dr's orders and rest up. Technically that is not wetting the bed as I never put my name on the list. Will be at home with laptop and mobile ready to coordinate any lost riders like one of those tecky guys in the movies. enjoy the ride brothers and sisters , look after each other and remember, safety = success

  • @Joe - I will get your lock ring and sprockets back to you soon I promise

  • btw how are derby getting on this season?

  • I would tell you tonight but you appear to be lying at home in damp sheets.

I have the route in the Garmin so can back stop (or lead if people are really desperate to get lost).

  • I take it the rendezvous is Ingatestone station?

  • Friday will lead. I have sent him the route.

  • Yes, but do you know the password and secret handshake?

  • Something to do with Ikea?

  • Still; in the dark - ho hum.

  • I can lend you a head torch.

  • @Ramaye: This route is what you have, right? It checks out with the elders, from what I hear.

  • Update for Tim
People are congregating. It's a bit disorganised. Why is their no list?

  • Argh!!! reading fail! I thought the trains were at 19:18 and 19:45.

Still in Brixton... Not gonna make it in 15 mins.

    So I'm out...

Gonna go for a burn around town instead :-)

Could be worse. Probably hit SEs and Norths while I'm out.

  • I can lend you a head torch.

balls, ah well I'm munching on Carrots and being virtuous getting my client work done.

  • On my way home. By train. I don't think tnrc and I are meant to be. Certainly the pedals I put on at the weekend and I are not meant to be. Left knee feels like it's been hit with a sledgehammer.

This is going to make my 750 mile ride next week interesting.
