unlikely i can make the deluxe this month but I'm up for paying whatever for IOW, loved that route.

• #3153
er? I thought there was a deluxe on the 9th August?
'er indoors + 'mini 'er indoors are out for the night....A normal father of a young baby would take this opportunity to get a full night's uninterrupted sleep.
So 'chapeau', you daft bastard.

I think I'm doing it wrong. Miriam seems to sleep ok. Bed at 8-9, sleep till 1-2, Alex feeds/changes. Sleeps till 6ish.

just a thought - how about a overnighter to oxford or cambridge and then go punting?
-
• #3158
No possible, there are no horse racecourses there.
-
• #3159
Yes.

an overnighter to a racecourse. i like it. gambling while sleep deprived.

I thought ashleyisdabest rode home as well, although he may have gone on his own? Quite impressed that he did the DD, then rode out to potters bar and back in again after the ride.
yeah i rode home too, back to docklands not too sure how much i clocked in yesterday must have been a fair mileage, definitely up for one of the deluxe rides, not sure which one though, hmmm have to think..

I would still be up for an IoW Deluxe even at that cost. I have to be a bit carful with days off so will be picking and choosing deluxes which means I'll probably skip Bath.
Punting sounds like fun but Oxford/Cambridge might not be far enough for a proper over-nighter, unless a less direct route is planned.

Central London to Cambridge is only something like 50-60miles, so even at an easy going pace with breaks you'd get there within 6-7hours.

remember folks - locks are needed when in Bath. lets not faff around like last year. carry a lock.
ludwig, i bumped into you this morning so know you have it covered - now you can stop pretending you only own a 5kg lock ;)
