We're trying to Clefty, but apparently she has other plans.
(Still working on her though)

Have fun! I am going to miss this unfortunately :(
(going to a discussion on "Is Tibetan Buddhism working in the West?". Maybe I should reach the conclusion that "no it isn't" and go for a pint instead...).

If kattiep is there, tell her the Masi is up for grabs, come and see it on Sunday.
-
• #259
Be there by 5.45!

• #260
Am just leaving work - should be there in 30 mins or so. I'll be the one who doesn't know anyone else...I think!

• #261
just leaving work. save me a guinness!
-
• #262
That was loads of fun! V glad I didn't wuss out.
Strangers bought me beer, there was chips, questioning of parenting, more chips, polo promotion via a catalogue of injuries sustained, the challenges of breaking in saddles, counting of teeth on cogs, clothing translations, double dipping and condiment cross contamination to name but a few highlights.
Thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome, what with me being off the Internet and everything.

meekly raises hand I'd like to come to the next one, if that's alright with everyone

^ the more the merrier.
Last night was a blast - lovely to catch up with old faces and meet new ones.
One teeny tiny unclip-fail on the ride home, but otherwise getting the hang of this fixed-riding lark!
See y'all soon.
(hmm, who hid the sun today?)

happy riding, maybe see some of you at bridges tonight! -
• #266
Well that was fun! I even ended up riding most of the way home before I got the tube, as it was such a nice evening.
Oh and Jenne.. [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adi_Dassler"]Adi Dassler[/ame]I remember the 'looks' we kept getting from one of the other tables, when there was a shout of one of the following:
- D.A.S.!
- You're doing it wrong!
- Come to a controlled stop!
- D.A.S.!

-
• #273
^ we did see a skid early on, I can imagine that'd been you. I think Mortari might have been behind that particularly loud and impressive DAS!
-
• #274
Oh, maybe I wasn't there for that skid? Dunno...
nelaii, I didn't catch your name before you headed off. You're the one with the super curly hair, right? I'm Jenne.

yes ladies, that was great. definitely up for it again... and I also suggest we all go ride our bikes together sometime, the ride home was much more fun with company (thanks Wicksie and jayloo)!
And jayloo, when can I come check out that VEST?
Yes Jenne but you haven't mastered the speed-unfold yet.
I can see us having TT's doing this later somehow.
Are you
strong-armingbringing your work colleague on Jenny's Brompton again?
