Ladies Drinks - Wednesday 28th November, The Pembury E8 1JH

OK Central it is, basically what we need is a central ish park, with a pub option - if the weather is shit - sam smiths pub would be best for cheap beer/cheesy chips action.

Cool. How about somewhere like Potters Field Park (with views across the river/Tower Bridge/GLA) - The Draft House on Tower Bridge Road would be the obvious place to end up. They do interesting beer.

Or, Lincoln's Inn Fields which is virtually on the doorstep of Ye Olde White Horse (nice, old pub but small and again, not a Smiths).

The Horseshoe Inn, SE1 (just behind Tooley St) is pretty bike friendly. Went there for drinks the other night after work and they didn't blink an eye at us rolling our bikes through and the beer garden is very spacious with ample storage room. Never sat inside but it looked fine to me. Apparently they have Mongolian food too, no idea what that entails...

I've recommended the Horseshoe Inn for ages, e.g. for SEs, but somehow the forum has never bitten.

Very much up for ladies drinks - happy with any of the suggestions suggested. Especially liking tramp beers idea! Perhaps somewhere we can pizza delivered to!

Getting thirsty and payday is next Wednesday even though I can't meet on Friday cos night riding to Whitstable.

Any of those places are grand with me BUT can't do any of those dates!!! Darn my best friend who now lives in San Fran for coming over to visit...She'll be gone on Mon 11 June so can do pretty much any time after that.
