One of my Sunday best bikes, I'm thinking of letting go my 1996/97 62cm Raleigh Special Products Titanium racing frame. I've had many happy years with her but not getting enough use of late :o(
Tubes from IMI in Birmingham rather than the later re-branded Timet and NOT the later shit looking oval tubed variant(IMO of course) Frame is 1600g approx, with the forks & headset 2100g
Immaculate throughout, comes with lovely needle bearing FRM headset & super tough Mizuno full carbon forks (the thickest steerer you'll find) and the Certificate from the frame builder.
Originally had straight legged steel forks in black but I moved them on for a tenner waaay back (Stupid me..grrrr)
looking for £1250 as this is about as rare a beast as you'll find in this condition/size -

Yup, I think so... need / want to shift it so priced as such
Don't need it, do want it, can't afford it, and am so seriously over the n+1 limit I'm in doo doo if I buy another.
Good luck, it's lovely.

Banana is mine! Will be transferring all components from my too-small commute bike in the near future.
Currently debating whether or not to have it resprayed. The colours may be classic, but they ain't pretty. If it does get repainted, I'll be on the search for period-correct Raleigh and Reynolds decals.

Keep the paint, otherwise will just look like every other 531 frame out there

I have a black Raleigh Record Sprint 64cm, 501 Aerospace concour tubing. I'm 5ft 11ins and although I prefer larger
frames it's always been on the 'too big' side for me.
Good condition fitted with recent Schwalbe marathon 700 x
28 road tyres and Rolls San marco seat with gold bits to
match all the other gold bits (crank, pedals, brakes, etc). Although fitted with narrow straight bars (gold of course) I
still have the original gold drops and gold brake levers.
Apart from changing the handlebars, pedals and seat the
bike is completely original.
Ideally looking for £150, Any interest?I'm in Welling Kent/London borders..
I can pm pics (or at least I think I can?)... -
