Q: Hi, is it really 65cm? Looks large, but (hopefully) smaller than that
A: yes its 65 cm measured in the old way from centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube ( seat clamp) cheers -

Basically I'm going to Uni in 3 weeks and I need a bike to take with me, i've got my Dolan but I want that for when I come back home.
I'm 6ft6"so about 62-64 would be cool. Decent(ish) parts but I'm looking to spend max £150. Also needs to be fixed gear. Or ss with flip-flop.
Or, I do already have some parts, so I would need:
Frameset,
Headset,
BB,
Wheelset,
Crankset.Cheers.

^^ really difficult to tell how large that Bob Jackson is just by looking as he hasn't added a photo that shows the whole bike properly, which is a bit rubbish! It made me think of the mystery guest round in Question of Sport. The head tube doesn't look huge though.
^I think you just replied to my Gumtree ad about the Fuji track. I'll email you in a bit.

Re Nishiki frame:
Thanx for that link, TheorySwine. Love the size of that frame! I've commed with the Nishiki owner, who's unfortunately abroad for the nxt 6 months. Not too keen on buying a rusty frame, shot-blasting, powdercoating. but might have to, if my dream frme doesn't materialise.

Thanx for that link, Spotter. U live to yr name.
Unfortunately, i'm not a fan of the aesthetics of Surly frames, where the cross-bar has been effectively lowered (ie extended seat-post & head-tube).
Being 6'3", i also can't abide all these modern sloping top-tubes! (where my seatpost ends up over 12" extended. Oo-er!)
Am i the only lanky cyclist who dislikes these? -
• #292
no I hate them too.
Was going to get one of those Steamrollers a while back but the headtube is too short for me.
