i always wanted the baby blue version, but it was too expensive for me as cx entrance two years ago. the shop, where i bought the black slr 2 made me a good offer so i couldn't resist.
rode it for the first time today,. the slr2 rode great, the advanced pro is even greater. i'm impressed. -

Looks great, shame about the rim logos though.

I would love to try it out if we meet at a Cx race some day :-)
Rim logos are easy remove I understand, but I think they work on this. -

Alu frame for fatties
Was eyeballing Giant tcx advanced pro2 on sales, but was not sure about crabon and now you mentioned, what weight limit you recon on that bike?
-
• #3398
I'd be surprised if the crabon frames have much of a rider weight limit.
The reason not go crabon is that CX bikes seem to get crashed quite a bit, and an alu frame will be a little bit more revealing of any structural damage.

Iām not planning to race, gravel and Epping forest tracks for now. Was set on TCX SLR 1 at the begging but Advanced pro grew on me, and sales now on. Would change wheels, chainset and saddle on both straight away, and keep rest stock. But still not sure Ā£450 difference in price, crabon on not crabon.
