Noooo just ordered some Sidi's. Should've ordered these!
Hardly a shit list. I almost exclusively wear Edwin's now. I have tried on nicer looking, more expensive denimz, but I just don't get on with them. My legs get too hot and they fit my short legs awfully. He could do a lot worse than APC/Edwin lets face it.

But you could also do sooooo much better.
I'd go for Levi's any day, over them two. -

Yes, they are.
LVC can come at really low prices.
Again, I shop everything from ebay. Where you get away paying peanuts. -

Few weeks ago a BNIB pair of Iron Heart sold for 150. Bargain. (My size too)
LVC as cheap as 90squid. Sugar Cane for 100 quid. Heaven. -

Hang on - was this on UK ebay? what the fuck, used to scour that site for Sugar Cane and LVC. Never did they come at that price in this country...

Got 2 pairs of LVC 1967 505s which are great jeans. Both about £90
and bought used pairs of '47 and '54 LVC 501s for peanuts both with little wear -one wash. I don't really like the cut of the 54s but the 47's are great - prefer the 505s though. The quality difference between the made in USA 47's and the 505 (turkey) is not noticeable to me and the cut is very similar - the 505's abit more Mod.

Can somebody recommend me some reasonably priced selvedge jeans that come in a slim-ish sorta cut? If I could try them on (i.e. in a London shop) that would be a massive bonus. Thanks!

I've got a pair of Edwins that I really like, think they're just over £100. Go to Son of Stag on Drays walk, off brick lane, they'll sort you out
-
• #815
Right you are sir. Cheers for the help.

Edwins are now over £100?!?!? faints
-
• #817
They'll be cheaper in Interstate on Endell Street, betcha...
-
• #818
Might be less, might be more, can't remember. Asos does them for less, but I'd rather spend my monies at son of stag

Fly by night East End hipster boutique or old-skool West End workwear outlet that's been stocking Edwin for over 10 years? I guess you pays your money and you takes your choice...

Sure. But between asos and son of stag, i'd go son of stag.

• #821
What do you guys think of these? Any good or just fashion shit masquerading as workwear? Seem good value...

The old Three Threads site has now become an Edwin outlet on Charlotte Street. You can try stuff but the prices tend to top a ton.

Been in there once and listening to the staff they don't seem too clued up about what they're selling. Could be bad luck I guess, but for service I was very impressed by Son of Stag. I explained what kind of jeans I wanted, fit, denim weight etc, and he pulled out a pair of Edwin ED-71 in correct size straight away
