What fit are you after?

all the rest of his trousers tend to be far too short, but i'd assume the length he could just get altered.
maybe jeans fit is the new bike fit

Well, I actually want something like a Warehouse 2nd hand, but with the fit of a pair of Warehouse Montgomery Ward's (1939 shape). It's pretty niche and specific. My Montgomery Ward's have been retired and they're too small now anyway (oops). They were a single season release never to be seen again.
I know the 2nd hand thing will be impossible so basically, I want around 14" in the thigh. Which I know is very wide. The most appropriate thing I can find is a McCoys 900S but I can't try them on without buying them from the UK.
I imagine an old 1933 LVC would be perfect but obviously they aren't available anymore.
I keep meaning to swing by Mister Freedom and try these on: https://misterfreedom.com/collections/mister-freedom-pants/products/le-vaillant-pants-indigo-hawaii-denim
The measurements are pretty spot on for what I'm looking for. Not traditional five pocket jeans but I think they could work with the kinda stuff I'm wearing at the moment.

I would like to find something similar to the Lee 1930 cowboy 101-b jeans. Something with belt loops, braces buttons and possibly a cinch at the back. My weight fluctuates wildly and I’d like to have the versatility of belt or/and braces. Ideally in a stupid heavyweight denim because I am an idiot and enjoy breaking in trousers that feel like cardboard.

The aforementioned ciano farmer seems to be willing to customize a fair bit, as long as you’re able to wait a few months.

Nobody makes jeans like this in a stupid heavyweight denim, because they're all very historically accurate and stupid heavyweight denim didn't exist in the 1890s-1920s, which is when jeans like this existed. You'll need to go custom. Warehouse make the 1922 1004XX which fits the brief other than denim weight.

Oh and might I say, Warehouse's Banner Denim is the finest denim to ever walk this Earth.

Those are perfect. Sadly not available in my size at Clutch Cafe

Ask if they'll get more. 1922s aren't limited I don't think.

Your knowledge of clothing is awe inspiring.

Not sure if you're joking. If not, I'm not sure about that. I just look at clothes a lot.
Ironically, I've been trying to track down some Lee 101Bs recently but had no success. Also been trying to find some LVC 1933s in Cone Mills denim and can't find any anywhere either. This is why, IMO, Warehouse are the only attainable option left. They're pretty much the only people who are still making very, very faithful repro's. Rather than 'inspired by a 1947 Levi's 501 with a few changes made' blah blah. Full Count are a close second but even they've strayed away from actual year references recently.
Sugar Cane have just made a MiUSA 1947 501 actually. In Cone Mills no less. Tempted to pick them up but a 1947 isn't really as spacious in the top block as I'd like. I also think denim just isn't the best fabric for trousers in SoCal outside of a three week period in late December.

Ironically, I've been trying to track down some Lee 101Bs recently but had no success.
The first ones that came out in Europe were made in Ireland, they were fantastic, I still have a pair (too small), a matching 101J and a Westerner jacket of the same vintage...
Next time I'm in my denim box I'll see what my LVC 1933s look like, think I've got two pairs but they'll be well used... I do have two very, very clean pairs of LVC201s...

Soso denim will make you something like that. I have a pair from them, they’re pretty good. https://sosoclothing.se/

Just ordered a pair of these to fill the void. Cinch back. As wide as I can find without being comedy wide. Never ever buy jeans without trying them on - hopefully they work considering they're coming from Japan.
Fade characteristics look very similar to the Warehouse Montgomery Ward's I mentioned up-page. I have a Burgus Plus hoody, purchased from Clutch and it's been really great.

@dancing James did you see the 33oz?
https://sosoclothing.se/product/the-heaviest-denim-in-the-world/
Even better they can all the extra braces bits you need.
-
• #3799
I have those, you can’t add a cinch back because the denim is too thick. I did design a super high rise 30s naval style jean though. They came out pretty good.

I’ve got some Burgus I bought in Japan and they’ve been great.
Also if we get travelling again this year, we’re going to Japan so can keep an eye out for you if you’re looking for something they might have over there
That's more subtle!?
I actually can't find any jeans that fit my fit requirements atm, frustratingly, having spent ages reading fit charts. Maybe I'm just too fat 🤷‍♂️
