Nothing new here, but it seems it still hasn't been said often enough ...

No way, and he was so sure it was going to work.
Poor David, it must come as a crushing diappointment to him.

We're all in our safe, warm, comfortable flats together, since, after all, the Government's supremely enlightened and not at all ideologically-corrupted economic policies haven't made anyone homeless.
Oh, wait ...

When Condomface mentioned 'shared sacrifice' last night without being howled down, I switched off the radio.

Someone tell me whether to vote Labour or Green.
Labour's failure to set an agenda and speak to voters like grown-ups disgusts me. They know austerity is bad economics but they're afraid to say it out loud (Why, I don't know. I think because they believe they'd be shouted down by the tory press. But I also worry they think the electorate's too dumb to get it.)
But are the Greens an organised force in politics or just a bunch of nice people with a collection of nice ideas? -

Fintan, vote Labour or Green.

But are the Greens an organised force in politics or just a bunch of nice people with a collection of nice ideas?
The Greens are a democratic party with policies proposed and voted upon by the membership and a leadership elected by the membership.
Hence a well-meaning nice-but-dim Aussie who can't keep up with her homework. Shame Caroline Lucas was too busy being an MP to continue as leader.

Vote Labour if you're in a Labour swing seat, and Green if you're anywhere else?

Yup. Southwark. I think that's what I'm gonna do.

Don't suppose they'll be proposing a hedge fund bill to go alongside this then?

I think they're still hedging their bets on that one.
Pretty impressive banner here:
I imagine that they chalked out the letters elsewhere and then got people to fill them in once on site? It could be a way of rushing it out by having more banner painters and not having to let it dry.

For anyone who hasn't heard about it yet, there'll be a big protest on June 20th:

i think C.Church is F.Antastic. Her getting attacked for NOT being a money obsessed, venal, tax dodging fuck like most celebs who support the Tories, just makes her point all the more salient.
A bit like the House of Lords?
