I posted about this camera mount a couple of months ago, the camera mount is now for sale but you can see a review of it here, seems to be getting a good reception.

Anyone interested in sjcams with all the mounts and stuff for £25?
Thinking I'll order 3-4 to save on postage but only want 1.

Watch where you're mounting the sjcam (sj4000 and m10+), RF/EM interference make Garmins go nuts. Same issue with both my old 500 and my current 510 on out front mounts with the sjcam mounted below the bars.
Edit: on that note, anyone got a GoPro Hero Session? Tempted to get one as long as it doesn't have the above issue. Probably get it from Halfords with my BC discount card thing, unless it's cheaper elsewhere?

SJ4000(basic) rebranded as Turnigy HD, just find the £6 postage annoying for £22 camera.
They have the SJ4000+ too being sold as a Turnigy 2k was £43.50 with postage(didn't know if I could trust them so just ordered 1 thing but arrived next day all good).

Might just buy some and stick them in the classifieds anyway.
@TurtleRecall not had that with my sjcam M10s been using them for like a year daily but then they aren't mounted super close.

This is what I mean about the GPS issue, 3:06 for the demonstration of the problem:

Same can happen with a gopro, that style of mount I guess all cameras can do it.
-
• #517
Hmm, so those kind of mounts are basically sod all use? That's a shame as I've bought one and planning to buy the gopro session... I did try wrapping my m10 case in copper foil tape stuff. Didn't make a difference, just looks like some kind of steampunk camera now :(

Use one of the little extension adapters you only need to get it a couple of inches away from what I can tell. Oh and my garmin is in the silicone cover thing maybe that has some shielding property?

@Clockwise, looking form the link you posted with the cam, it doesn't look likt it comes with a saddle mount like this, does it?
Coz this is what I want to do with the cam... thanks

None of the sjcams come with them all the mounts are plastic, I'll be honest the case is good but the mounts I got metal ones from other places.
-
• #521
no worries, thanks, I will just order 1 from ebay. TBH, even the GoPro ones are not that great, so I, too, use the metal ones for my GoPro.
See you next week!

Regarding the Garmin/camera issues. I'm trying to find out more about it, but should note that I had a Holux GPSport 260 cheapo GPS for years and ran an SJcam 4000 wifi just under the bars with that with no GPS issues whatsoever. Wonder if Garmins are just super-sensitive to RFI?
Think I'm gonna go for a GoPro session for my combo garmin/cam mount but only buy on the condition that I can return it if it dicks with the signal.

What he said, the plastic mounts are shit, I've broken all of mine by not listening to him.
-
• #524
Id be keen if you have one left?!

Cameras arrived, I'll pm people in a bit.
Hopefully this link should work to my YouTube channel with my GoPro videos, constructive criticism welcome 😂👍
