On One Pompino owners...

It's all about striking a balance, at least visually, plus this will be my everyday bike/occasional rando ride so I's like to get saddle and bars as levelled as possible. I am getting old and my back is too, every little helps.

having never done so before, i would like to build some wheels for my new pomp. i want to spend as little as possible and have heard about mavic a119s and rigida rims being suitable. would anyone be able to recommended some rim/spoke/hub combos they've found to be cheap and good? ta

A119 to Novatec track with Sapim Race/DT Swiss Competition.

DT Swiss TK 540 to Novatec track with whatever spokes Arup used.

Just spotted my first fellow pomp. Grey one with (I think) EC70s at Greggs on Holborn/Grays Inn Rd. On here surely?

What's the biggest off-road tires I could put on my Pomp v4? Any idea of a good model?

40c ish tires fit fine, had smart sams on mine whole winter.

Tried taking them anywhere muddy?

In Finland we have this thing called winter, theres slush and feet of snow. Does that count as mud?

E: atleast with our lovely weather, you're gonna get clogged up anyway, so might aswell maximise the tyre size for extra floatiness and traction and whatnot.

Got it from the awesome mr tomvanhalen here. Thing is, I'm way too tall for it so I'll prolly let it go sometimes soon. Shame cause it feels nice to ride, even tho I find it stiff AF, mind you it could be the rock-hard tyres or the fact that I had been riding a very big reynolds 531 frame before i switched. Anywhoo, I'll ride it for a bit and see if I get used to the looks of it. I doubt it.
