  • About the furthest north I'd want to go too - I'll try to be there at 8 (if I come)
Anywhere good to get a strong coffee from around there?

I'm not too sure we really need to be meeting at Oval at 8, I think 25 past ish would be a better time, otherwise we'll arrive at Greenwich park at 8:30. We could say meet at 8:20 for an 8:30 departure? Anyone who wants to join please send me a PM with your number by tonight so that we make sure no one is left behind.

  • Ian you are a good third of the reason I'm coming. :<

  • crap... OK. I can make a plan my friend.

  • To get round the globe lane issue in Rochester / Chatham you can go straight over the lights in to military road then left through the taxi rank and onto Dock Road at the bottom of the ramp to the pentagon, less dodgy than going through the new bus station but still needs a careful eye. Got to love the Medway Towns permanent roadworks.

  • :d win!

  • crap... OK. I can make a plan my friend.

yay! you can revise on the train back.

  • ill bring my books...

  • On this note, I have no way of*** printing a cuesheet*** or map so can somebody bring a spare incase I get lost?

I'll be doing this geared as I need to justify the cost of the bloody thing.

post #69 of this thread for anyone looking

  • Radius you're right. We'll be aiming to get to oval for about 8.20. Just wait for us.

  • Fark, I have to babysit my newborn niece. Out. Sorry.

    :-(

    this is win^

or just before globe lane in Chatham (sorry john, couldnt resist picking you up on it...) nip through the car park on the left opposite the car sales yards. over the grass past chatham library and back onto dock road at the entrance to the command house...

You bastard! And you were trying to lure me in as well.
Right, I'm still in the UK, but can't cycle that far with my daughter.

How long you thin it will take you to get there and what time are you planning to set off back for London? Maybe I will go there by car? I know, I know...

  • maybe 2.30 arrive at destination? hard to predict

  • What, 120km with a group of sixty cyclists of varying ability, unsure of the exact route apart from following the leader, including stopping for lunch, arriving by 2:30?
    Wildly optimistic I think...
I've got my EPO though so I'll be there before the rest of you have even left Greenwich.

  • 5pm is my prediction for Margate.

  • ^ agree

  • just discovered a slow pu@#ture and I've got only one spare tube. will pump the tyre to the max in the morning and change it on due course if it needs too.

    anyways, see you tomorrow morning.

  • last minute entry
