  • I read that, and suddenly found myself salivating.

love Het Volk, even though it's NEVER televised (humph), but I really got involved with Paris Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico last year. Totally absorbing racing.

Check out www.cyclingfans.com - they usually have a stream of the Sporza coverage for Het Volk, so you get to see proper racing and get a chance to learn Flemish at the same time. Win, win.

  • Let's have your TDU predictions, here are mine:

Cav to be sprint king, Griepel to languish behind Farrar, Ciolek, Hushovd and probably McEwan.

  • I don't think Cavendish will win a stage. He'll be working for Goss and Renshaw and getting some race miles in his legs. He's got bigger fish to fry and has a long season ahead of him, given the Copenhagen course is likely to give him the best chance he'll ever have of being world champion.

    Goss will win the overall.

  • A big crash which will put one of the big sprinters out of action for a few weeks.

Cav is too big headed to not 'race' Griepel

  • Congrats to Ben Swift this morning!

Cav's big head covered in blood... at least he's got his early season crash out of the way

  • Ouch.

Lance will win it. He's so awesome.

Agreed - he looked well chuffed

    nasty.

  • He didn't lay off the pies this winter did he?

  • He's pretty trim, actually.

It's just that he's got a massive fat head.

It's how he makes gaps in the peloton.

  • Is this an opportunity for a claw photo?

  • I like his unkempt appearance, makes him look like a sexy Neanderthal

  • We are.

  • Maybe his new girlfriend likes that look?

  • I like his unkempt appearance, makes him look like a sexy Neanderthal

That's why I didn't shave for a while before I visited last night and yet.. nothing.. not a single inappropriate touch.. sob

  • Is this an opportunity for a claw photo?

Christ... can't find it quick enough...

  • Deceiving. When men breathe in deeply their stomach expands, while when a woman does it her chest does the expanding.

    #factoid

  • Tubby ^^

    #another factoid

  • Breathing in deeply / tubby * again

    *delete as appropriate

  • Jesus, he's a right fat cunt

  • Ulrich!

  • Nothing wrong with fatties you bunch of racists.

  • Ulrich!

I was watching a load of footage of Jan Ullrich recently, and in at least half of it, where he's in the vicinity of Lance Armstrong, Jan is pedalling faster. I knew this already, but it always makes me laugh in light of the internet-wisdom of Jan=masher, Lance=spinner.

The same way that someone will have reported Lance Armstrong's cadence as being 110rpm at some point during a TT, and then a game of Chinese whispers begins, and suddenly thousands of American (and regrettably, British) 'experts' are saying how it's *essential to climb at 110rpm like Lance*.

It's another one of those days when I wake up and remember how much I hate almost everyone :(
