Those look nice - more running gear is clearly what I need!

Be somebody @Tenderloin - just get the Loro Piana
-
• #4054
Something tells me a new dad with a house reno project might not spend £5k on a trackie, but I hope I am wrong.

Yee of little Loins faith.

I managed a loro piana (fabric) suit and rain jacket in 2020, no clothes in 2021 but I’m not sure I’ve reached tracksuit buying status yet. Need to save that money for taps/nappies/Porsche taycan

lol - yeah - it's horrendously expensive for what it is IMO. I know it's cashmere but it's not like it's groundbreaking.

no clothes in 2021
Now there's a real cost saving.

It definitely was and it seems to be sticking other than what I’ve listed above + some running gear I haven’t bought anything in the sales. That would’ve previously been unheard of

You’ve run out of stuff to spend money on when you’re shelling £2k on some tracksuit bottoms

Athletic socks are back

Tube socks are athletic socks, those in your link have heels!

I know you could level this accusation at any luxury product, but there does seem to be something excessively gross about that.
Out of curiosity, do you think cashmere will hold up as a material? I get its a blend, but it still feels like it might be fragile.

Few people liked this coat when I posted it - pretty decent price in the sale with an extra 5% off

Smoll only. Though, totally unrelated, speaking of Snow Peak, can we take a second to appreciate this new Snow Peak rain jacket?

Large in the black

And yes that is v cute

Any recommendations for jeans? I used to get Gap but the quality has dropped in the last few years. Everything seems to be high elastane and over-faded. Slim, 1% elastane and simple colour, around the £50 mark?

Proper jeans, but 2nd hand. I'd check ebay, I've picked up several pairs of hardly worn Edwin, Albam, etc for £25-35
-
• #4070
Yeah eBay for jeans - acne carry quite a wide range which would probably meet your criteria.

Anyone ever bought anything from Cavour?

Update on the question re Hestra gloves, i can confirm that the Wakayama are very warm, quite thick and not for doing anything more dextrous than plugging a cable into your fully electric vehicle, picking up a bunch of Carvelo Nero or bag of heritage tomatoes, to pay for them you would need to take them off.
they are fully gorpcore approved.

Everything I've bought from sunspel has been great quality, fit etc, including a loopback sweatshirt.

No. Once contacted them about a sports coat and they were helpful, though. Sizing was too scandi for me so I left it. I like some of their stuff though.
Yeah I mean that outfit looks fine and get that it’s personal preference but I want something that looks good and is comfortable to travel in - track pants and a Hoodie seems the obvious answer.
