If you're putting out the dough for Sunspel, try some of the merino wool options.
I'm all merino'd out after going for the rapha LS polo. Mind you, a man can never have too much merino.
I must be alone in finding the american apparel ts too boxy in M. Too tight in S though.

Can I do better than Uniqlo for basic jumpers? Looking at the £80 cashmere round neck and wondering if anyone would recommend a brand at a similar price point? Thanks..

I just bought a 3-pack of black Hanes/Supreme t-shirts... I've already got some grey ones but hardly ever wear them, nice and lightweight so good for summer and only £25 a pack...

Best place for plain t shirts? They're pretty much all I wear at the moment. Slim/trim, short sleeves and decent quality. Looking at picking up a couple of sunspel ones, but looking for other suggestions. High street is fine. I've got a couple of nice slim Ts from Reiss.
Albam and Uniqlo for me

For plain t-shirts try YMC. Sumo has a few and they're really nicely cut/made, although pricey if bought full price.

lol - sorely temptedwill they be useful after the wedding. will they upstage the brides shoes. will they compliment the dress?
I wear mtb shoes 98% of the time, so no, not especially useful post wedding and since they are neutral and wont be seen, they're unlikely to upstage the bride. By the time the dancing begins I expect I would have kicked them off anyway. Not really sure why I'm posting about it here (I mean, yawn) but I guess I'm just a bit miffed I have to fork out for shoes I'll hardly wear when I've been unbelievably self-restrained and not splashed out on any cycling attire for the past year or so.

Shall check the YMC Ts. The Supreme 3 pack arrived, thin, too long in the arm and a bit boxy. Oh well.
From research it appears the Reiss crew necks in small are the best fit for me. Slim fit, without being ridiculous and they meet the rule about not dropping below the hips, and the sleeve stopping halfway down the upper arm.

Have yet to find a reliable tee fit. I have an oddly long torso and stumpy legs but American Apparel mediums are tiny across the chest are larges are way too long. Same with Uniqlo. Large are just about ok but I have to cut a cm off the baggy. flappy arms and sometimes a few off the hem.
My latest near-enough-fit find is large basic pocket tees from Urban Outfitters.
I'm yet to find the perfect tee. American apparel is the best I've found so far , uniqlo at close second. H&m is usually crap, no?
Tempted to try Everlane, but they only ship to the states
