I was looking for some new swim shorts. I came across Sunspel ones, but they're a bit pricy.
Any ideas for similar, but more reasonably priced ones?
Cheers.

try asos ... most of them have drawstrings but they have a similar cut.
or better still
old school vtg tennis shorts on ebay although they probably have front pockets, still very chic.
hope that helps.

There are quite a few good options on asos. The tennis shorts look good, but I wonder how practical they are - ie drying and comfort in the heat.

Funny you say that I'm also after a pair of brief style for more or less that. When I was in Brazil asides from the guidos and old men it was pretty much standard to wear speedo-style with board shorts ontop.

Ha! It was more trying to find brief boxer shaped ones vs y-fronts.
But that's now I've realised "brief boxer" was the prefix I needed ;)

Orlebar Brown are a bit banker on the beach but they're well made and low key enough. You can usually find pairs on flea bay for a good bit less than the eye watering rrp.

Spunked an imaginary fortune without spending an actual penny in Dover Street Market earlier. Interesting shirts from Ann Demeulemeester - many shirts don't register much, or go too far the other way and become awful, but hers show how a basic garment can be pepped up with small details without turning naff. Great trousers and other bits too. Lots of good Rick Owens gear. I'd be well set with four figures to relieve myself of.

This story made me chuckle: Men, are you a leek, parsnip, beetroot or aubergine?

Best place for plain t shirts? They're pretty much all I wear at the moment. Slim/trim, short sleeves and decent quality. Looking at picking up a couple of sunspel ones, but looking for other suggestions. High street is fine. I've got a couple of nice slim Ts from Reiss.

The obvious place is h and m. Good range of single block colour t's. Decent fit/ shape. But they are cheap. Oh so cheap.

If you're putting out the dough for Sunspel, try some of the merino wool options.
Anyone around at Fashion Week?
