now just a double lever and its sorted, already faffed a cable disc brake for the rear from the skip at work.

No canti mounts..

Just checked the blog stats - not many people looking today, so maybe people will pick up their flyers when they're hungover tomorrow. Monday, when the images were posted here, was pretty good.

It would be good to get some more content up there.

I'm going to do a write up of my bike, explaining why it's evidently made me worse, before next weekend.

Will this freewheel http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=54098 fit with my current 1/8inch chain or will it be too 'fat'? I'm wary because it says 3/16" on it and I can't find anywhere that will tell me what this size refers to! Am i right in thinking that this is the teeth width and it will be in the middle between a thin 3/32" and a thicker 1/8" width?

finally ordered my spokes for my new front wheel. £10 for 50 from cyclebasket. High postage cost but i needed other stuff too, and its next day delivery. Would recommend!

What spokes? Nipples included? Are you building a 48?

yes. aci stainless steel double butted. with nipples.

Never used ACI, but that's a good price if they're the same quality as DT/Sapim. RRP on DTs is 85p each!

yeah i've used them before for the wheels on my iro, and the spokes on that coaster brake wheel i sold to squeaker. bargainous.

plenty of knocks and that wheel is still true as a whistle!

I'm going to do one this week for my super - carrera if thats ok.
I'f anyone else wants me to do theirs I can too - i was going to make a crib sheet that everyone could fill in (like toptrumps) for each persons bikes - we could also make some stickers/flyers with them on.

I posted the link to our website and your bike online too Dan. I made one post a day for the last week on the FB page as an experiment. 452 people read our page, a majority of those from Europe and America. I think 2-3 a week is a better rate though. I'm also updating the League of Bike Polo page for us at the minute, we don't really use it but it's surprising how much other scenes do for tournaments, etc. Blowie Ben is no longer our rep, may he RIP.

Looks like a new polo build for moi incomming....the mk 3..image in my head should prove pleasing to the eye...

2 Squeak has wheelcover material sometimes. Or try Express Polythene.

Last night was fun - epic mid-week turnout.

On Thursday I suggest Black Stabbath plays every other game (gives us chance to discuss our failings...) against a thrown-in fast team, and every other game is a random throw-in (which Black Stabbath sits out).

Sounds fair?

Sounds like a possibility i can play every game and get into practise for this weekend's super south birmingham tournament (involving just me and no actual polo).
