  • I'm happy to do whatever as long as we get our shit together for once!

  • I'll chair, sounds like it involves sitting down. someone pm me and the minuter a finalised agenda before the meeting.

  • I assumed the chairman makes the agenda...

  • It's just the list and whatever anyone wants to add to it that I've already posted basically. I'll do the agenda and minute stuff then.

Chairing a meeting means you ensure all business is discussed, that everyone’s views are heard, that clear decisions are reached and the meeting is kept on course (shouldn't be hard in Birmingham right?).

  • Ha! Are we allowed to heckle the chairman?

    only joking!

  • Shit, I've just realised I have a job interview the afternoon we're supposed to be going to Cambridge Dan! Can we re-arrange? Plus, both our new bikes will be built up then (although I'll be falling off all over the place)...

  • I'll probably just go on my own if you can't make it. Latest I can leave is 4pm if that helps.

    Plenty more tuesdays and thursdays!

  • What should I write on my spanking new white wheelcover? Suggestions?

  • Bham bike polo since 1992

  • surely thats

Bike Polo established in birmingham 1992

  • or Bike Polo invented in birmingham 1992

  • Ozzy says "Birmingham, the home of bike polo!"

On a more serious note, can anyone help with temporary storage of my polo bike? I could leave it at On Your Bike during the week but we're not open on Sundays. I'm worried there won't be much of a bike to come home to pretty soon :(

Just found out my frame is still in Peru, so I don't think I'll bother taking the doomed Pompino...

Maybe some time in the next few weeks.

  • Uhoh! Have you got an ETA?

  • They reckon 1-2 weeks.

these are rubbish guys. Seriously, 'sort your shit out'

  • Just wait for people to draw penises and swears all over it.

  • OK, I'll bring a pen

  • Bristol are opening registration for their tourney on Monday, noon, so if anyone has formed a team and wants to go, get on it. http://www.lfgss.com/thread78964-2.html

Hyper/4ndy - I'll do my best to get us registered. Only 20 non-Bristol teams though!

  • On trend, right? It's got the lot, curvy seat tube, and canti mounts.

    From Hilary Stone:

CYCLOCROSS FRAME 1980s Probably Belgian built

        Seat Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
        Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
        Rear dropout width: 124mm
        Wheel size: 700C/sprints
        Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Probably Reynolds 531 double butted
This is a rather nice Cyclocross frame which came from Belgium – it has a rather neat slightly curved seat tube and is obviously very good quality though the forks do not seem to be so nicely made. Whatever it would make an ideal beginners cross frame... £79
