Mallet under front wheel is a no no, double tap..victim of a t bone..nope..oppressor yep.

But who's the victim of a T-Bone?
The person stopped who's wheel I skid into? -
• #1080
Skidding to block is ok in my book. T bones are fully intentional, skidding to block is impulse i would reckon, a T bone is pure deviance.

But who's the victim of a T-Bone?
The person stopped who's wheel I skid into?T-Boning is a really vague rule, which doesn't really work. We all stop in front of other players to hinder their progress, the onus is on the attacking player to move around the hinderer.
I think it jsut means 'no riding into people at right angles', which is a bit easier to call.
Although, if you keep skipping into people at right angles, you should get a front brake, or slow down.

+1 for what dan said,
If person 'a' stationary and person 'b' is moving, it's up to 'b' to maneuver, a bit like basket ball.
If you were stationary but back into somones path, that's a reverse t bone as you're moving.
If you skidded into stationary people a few times the ref would probably ask you to tap (single or double). -

LOVE Malcolm Tucker. I'm going to use the Carrot and Stick approach...Jamie is even better, though.

I've only ever hired a bike once. In Amsterdam. The stupidest thing I did was nearly fall into a canal/smash into my friend. What a fail! I wonder if anyone's turned upto polo on a Boris bike yet? Blatantly....

Well done to Jess and Stu for hustling some new players. Hopefully they'll all become regulars and Brum polo will move on to the next level. I saw some promising plays/players, especially considering they were using borrowed bikes/mallets.
Apologies for rolling up late with my war-face on shouting at everyone to get organised. I could only stay for an hour and wanted to get some games in!
I think it's sensible to continue doing what we did tonight and have an even distribution of beginners/slow games, fast games, team games, and grand-shuffle random games. I'm not clever enough to think of a fool-proof/automated system for sorting it, but did it work okay tonight? I was only there for an hour, and got three games, but 2 of 3 were really good, so I was happy. Thoughts?
Neil is the only person who crashed in to me and fixed my bike. Still works fine now. Was a double tap but i will let you off..heh
