Not sure who makes your brogues but I really, really rate my Tricker's brogues. They're insanely comfy. Trainer levels of comfort.
They have many different pairs.

I have these with Vibram Morflex soles and they're very casual but do dress up with the right suit. The sole is very very good.

Picked up some lovely Cheaney tassel loafers for my father-in-law for this birthday. Thanks for the heads up!

No worries. I couldn't try them in my size, otherwise I'd probably have a pair by now.

9-9 1/2 for me. None in HSK, when I checked - all 8s or 10+

annoyingly they are not on their website or I'd order a pair. don't have the time to get to HSK

Acquired these for a reasonable price - any advice for initial wearing in? I remember someone suggesting wearing new leather shoes around the house for an hour or two in the evenings.

Hah, no

Nah, just get them tailored to fit better.

They fit fine :)
Well, by my standards anyway, for otp stuff that you can use on the bike.

I tend to wear shoes in at work - wear them whilst sitting down and walking around office but never for too long initially. Alternatively just wear them whilst watching the telly in the evening - longer the better really

Anyone got any recommendations for a chunkier chelsea boot? Ideally I'd like something a bit more dressy than a pair of blunnies but more comfy than a pair of Red Wing chelsea ranger. I know there's the Dr Martens chelsea, but I'm not too keen on the whole dr martens look

Look for dealer boots, some of the Australian ones are more substantial
Redback, blundstone, RM Williams etc

Thanks for the links! So far the profiles are too dressy or too blundstoney... Maybe I should just get a pair of red wings and get on with it

Grenson arlo or Trickers Henry if you don’t mind brogueing.
You’ll probably have a lot of luck with the usual suspects so long as they have dainite/commando sole ... which was fashionable a couple years ago so probably still an option with most brands.
