They look like Paraboots - very popular with the French in the 80s

Back in England, can post Saturday before flight back to Italy...
Anyone want these Design:Loake Quinn shoes for £25 (ono) + post? Size 8, too tight for me and not Italian enough for gf's bro. Barely any wear to heel and minimal wear to sole. Will polish before posting.

Paraboot Michael Marche.
Albam and Goodhood carry them - might also be a few options in black friday.
I have them in light and dark brown - fucking killer shoes, I'd recommend trying them on if possible

Has anyone got a recommendation for a cobbler in central or south who can replace a leather sole? Don't want to pay Church's £150 as the uppers are a bit knackered but don't want a total bodge job either.

Lewisham/Brockley area alright?
http://www.brookbank-drycleaners.co.uk/other-servicesThey've resoled Loakes and Paul Smith boots that I've been pleased with. They don't do it on site, have someone who collects weekly from the shop and returns them.

Tk maxx has loads of Harrys in general at the moment - theyre still steep at £130 but excellent fake-smart shoes. The vibram soles are solid but very comfortable and they look like smart oxfords or loafers from the top.

Any interest in these? William Lennon trench boots - same design since the Great War, leather everything except for the steel shank and brass tacks. I have had them for years but havent worn them much as i was always a bit disappointed with the square toe. Ive always oiled / waxed them and have just bought new waxed laces for them, they always had leather laces that I regularly snapped.... size 12. Worn, soles especially but great boots that will outlast you and me.

£80?
William Lennon are awesome, never mind overpriced US 1000 mile boots etc. I feel I may be buying another pair in a different design.

Interesting. How wide do they come up? I have shovel shaped feet so don't hold out hope, but you never know.

you’re welcome to try them - i have wider than average but not super wide feet and they are good for me.

Nice. I'd forgotten about William Lennon.
I'd stumbled across them years ago while looking forvtrad cycling shoes.Seriously tempted. From Pinterest it looks as though they make a lot of other designs. I might see if I can visit them next time I'm in the Peaks.

Picked these up from TK Maxx by TCR yesterday - £150 not exactly what I was looking for but at that price couldn't refuse!
