  • With literally everything I own. Jeans, chinos, cords, suit, shorts...

The longwings are ace but very old school ivy league, and really it's about the leather. Don't want to go off £££ shoes!

Black brogues with jeans? please god no.

    Look again...

  • ^ noted.

  • They're deepest burgundy, like wine lust.

  • Had a look at them in present. I prefer the brogue one. The colour of the leather makes it quite subtle, it's nowhere near as prominent as on a tan shoe.

Might struggle with suits though, unless it's of heavier material

  • Fuck it

    Plain toes.

    Go for the plain toes!

  • They were a Christmas present for you you ungrateful fucker.

    Dodged a bullet there...

  • hmm - the sole on the plain toe seems a little too chunky to me but I dislike longwing brogues, so I would have to go plain toe.

  • shoes with shorts >>>>>>>>

  • Only in Italy.

  • Made-to-order Tricker's cordovan chukkas. OMFG.

  • ooof

  • Mini boner

  • Shoe horn :-)

  • ba-dum-tish!

  • Nice

  • although i don't care for the aldens, their welting is balanced with the upper; the trickers are too bottom heavy

    c- must try harder

  • That is your subjective opinion. I like the prominent soles.

I tried on the Aldens yesterday. They are quite long in the toe and I'm having doubts.

  • Those chukkas. Wow.

I'll be investing a pound on a lucky dip today.

    All opinions are subjective, no?

Long in the toe, like a russian gangsters winklepickers, or a shapely prow?

  • Mini boner
