It's been suggested that those who wish to (which would include me) will come home via Casa Prancer in Kew to wish the old attention seeker well. Start times remain the same but after St Georges Hill and Runnneymede we will pop back via Kew, if that is OK with everyone. If you stop off there, carnage in central London should be over by the time we go through.

If we can get a list of visitors to Kew I will try to get cakey goodness (free not £5 a slice like look mum no pocket money left). Coffee will be free and much better than roehampton cafe or box hill.

How you feeling James?

Much better knowing I should be out tomorrow. Will be a huge relief.

Good to know, getting back to London will make you feel loads better too I can imagine

James, we need you back. This is what your beloved City has become, since you have been away.

I gather that they are putting the bunting out for your return James and closing major roads from traffic.

Best roll up my sleeves and get my apron on or it'll be Look Mum No Cake (even though we diverted the route to get some)

There is bunting in the shop window. It is not for James, although, if he is ever on the IoM I will find something suitable to hang from the windows.
6 people have complained that we are dangling the union flag without our own flag.
I disagree with all forms of bunting.

Andy, you have my sincere sympathies. At least where I work the feeling is simply that we are being deprived of a day's work at a very busy time just before our financial year end. So much for the monarchy bringing revenue to the country, it is costing our firm and many others like us, significant sums.

Good luck with this Clive...great idea. I will be doing my best to avoid "another two people getting married" hysteria. Will be easier for me, no bank holiday over here...

this.
I might be at Roehampton gate at 10am. I have a lapping target so I probably won't do the 80-100 mile thing (not wise to up my mileage too quickly!) but looking forward to meeting up on this crazy day.

Have a good ride y'all.
The powers that be here are declining to recongise tomorrow as a bank holiday so its business as usual here. Not I expect that they are republicans, just that they are stingy bastards.

We have a wedding window at work.

All the best with this Clive, weather forecast seems good for the most of the day, maybe some rain later in the day, a waterproof layer should do the job.
Sadly, I will spend my day looking for some interesting pic in the middle of the celebrating.Have a good'n one!

Hopefully we will not attract a police escort as a consequence as they could slow us down!

Pretty good going that 3 of the 4 London events are LFGSS backed.
I did like their strap line for the Guinness Ride.
"More a publican ride than a Republican Ride..."
Cliveo, doubt i will make it out on your extravaganza, but have a great trip, and good to hear you are returning to rude health.

Thanks Bernie. Being an abstinent soul, I will not be joining you but will endeavour to return those who wish to ride both in a timely manner and with thirsts waiting to be quenched.
