Finished, all fixed. Only needed 30 miles today, but Oli decided 55 miles round kent in that rain and wind was a good idea, fun!

All done. Last 100km in the wind and rain today. Exhausted but happy. Going to have a sleep before this evenings events (nothing planned yet...).

Done! Did a final 57.7 miles today in the rain and wind, but it was worth it. I feel very satisfied. Next year I'd like to do some of the mileage with others, rather than all 310 miles on my own...

Was riding into town this morning to go to yoga and met two Rapha clad ladies who were on their way to the Rapha Cafe. They had completed their 500 and were going for a coffee.

You rode a bike?
Clearly you are a disciple of scoble, he used to buy bikes and sell them almost immediately but has gone on to do some impressive pedalling. You are clearly following in his skid marks.

Must wash myself .. with bleach

^^does that mean I am also a disciple of le scobe?
Shit.
With today's ride I simultaneously hit 1000km for December and finished the Festive 500, so I'm really pleased. Shame it was all in Surrey, the road's are quite simply shambolic.

Think my favourite part of my 500 was the variety! got to cycle in buckinghamshire, oxfordshire, kent and wales.

Jealouso. Will I be seeing you later?

Yes, probably.

If you'd headed away from London then back in when you did that century the other day you could have done some nice riding in Hampshire, surely?
Your routes always look like the work of an erratic spider :P

Australia?
Love to.
Airfares around Xmas suck balls though.

Will probably start a North Wales riding thread in 2014 with some of these routes.
Excellent. Some nice lanes to be found west of Wrexham...and there's the Horseshoe Pass in that area too, serious business.
Tea, some lunch, then out to do my final 40 miles
