Could you ask Harvey to make you some with thicker-walled tubing? It's the same material.
Same material as milky's? It's not is it?
(it's defo not the same as the 3ms)Oh I don't mind picking them up from Joni, but I'm not paying postage! :p

Harvey uses thin walled HDPE
The yellow/blue stuff from the road and heads from 3PMH are also HDPE but have a thicker wall/smaller ID.
MILK is UHMW-PE

Really? The black stuff seems to have qualities very different from the other hdpe... Too different to just be the thickness? For example if I whitle them the gas pipe (+3m) is softer whereas the black pipe is more brittle.
I'm not saying the black pipe is ultra high density, but it's a higher density than the gas pipe I have.

After a quick search of Wikipedia (which I mention to excuse any mistakes) but it suggests gas pipe is usually mdpe. It also describes a notch test which seems to correlate to what I meant by whitling.
Also I think someone here previously described gas pipe as mdpe, but the black pipe as hdpe.

I've been a little slack on the distribution recently, back on it now.
So, we've just had a new delivery of international heads, going to update paypal in a bit.
We've run out of metten caps. I'm not planning on making another order, at least for the time being, in this cold weather they go brittle, and crack too easily.
Luckily 3pmh are just bringing out a new range of capped heads, I'm testing the first one he's sent (and of course there are Harvey and Milk heads as well, if you choose).
Hopefully there will shortly be more exciting developments from 3pmh as well, I'll let you know when I get them.
We've got hundreds of poles, a few baskets. Balls have run out as well right now.

Nik is desperate for a head, can you bring her one on Sat?
Excites about the new 3pmh one, hope they're good.

Turns out I still have 20 metten caps left. I'll add the paypal button again, but as a warning, they aren't really suitable for the winter.

Is there any interest in me stocking Milk heads? I've had a few people ask me.
-
• #1092
Dean's metten cap lasted half a game on Monday.
I would be interested in Milk heads depending on price and what the new 3pmh ones are like.
-
• #1093
By the time I add shipping costs, and the LHBPAs 10% it's about £20 each.
Would people pay that?

what the new 3pmh ones are like.
I'll have it built up for tonight, and I'll bring it along tomorrow so that you can have a look.

Nice John.
I personally would pay £20 for a milk head if they lasted 3 times as long as a RV head.
But again it depends how good and how much the 3PMH are.

• #1096
£20 for a head is ridiculous.
They are UHMW and Newington will still get through them in a couple months of regular play (especially if you hit the floor with your shots), three times as long seems unrealistic to me.
Solutions: Never play at Newington (heads will last ages up at Downs), or never let your mallet head hit the ground during shots, or become rich.

I'd take a milk at £20

Whaaaaaaat?!?
Put me down for one... In fact, can I come and grab one off you at work today? -

I'm with jono, they'll go quick, plus the capped end seems to be becoming concave, which is not pleasing and goes against the whole concept of a cap.

Just paid for a Perro Lite pole, thanks John H
Yeah I'm sure. He's good like that, old Louis.
