Are these the heads that are secured with what looks like a spoke?
I'd give one a go.

Adam, I've tried before, and he wasn't willing to sell me heads, just mallets. Maybe someone else will have more luck. Either way, I'll only get involved in products where there is consistent demand for.
Sure thing H-Bomb..is slightly annoying about the whole mallet thing. I'm comparing it to the MKE heads at the moment which are pretty pricey plus shipping. I don't mind buying a complete mallet save me doing it. Also those caps look good quality. Which would be ace to test out if people wanna do a try out order?

I would defiantly buy two complete Poloschlaeger mallets or just heads if you are doing an order. Been using them for about 6 months and there have been nothing but great...

Gladly.
Awesome, thank you!
Will send you a pm to discover the next time you're at souths.

I also only use poloschlaeger heads. Dont like his technique of fixing them to the shaft 9dont think its strong enough) but I just drill through and stick some screws in .
Id deffo take the heads but maybe not full mallets
aufbruch ill take that mallet off you if you want, whaddya want for it? EDIT: if erin hasnt got it already -

I'd like a mallet or a couple heads if we were going to make an order.

Been looking at the site he mentions flattening the poles and melting them in to stop them spinning... This is a great idea, does anyone else do it with their mallets? There's no reason not to try with 3m heads is there?!

• #1036
You could do, but I would worry about weakening the pole.
The filed notches work perfectly.

Yeah, it doesn't really work though.

I managed to mess it up with the thin black pipe then, or I'm hitting too hard! It's not spinning freely, but if I bang the ground I can get the head to rotate... Which can be offputting...

Hmm, maybe black pipe might be too thin, not sure.

if you countersink the black pipe it doesnt work, but if you just use a csk screw and pilot it it bites fine.

• #1046
also, interestingly those poloschlaeger heads are nylon not uhmw like the mkes

phil def sells the heads on their own. Cam bought some before euros, i bought full mallets auf bought one too. I dont think there was a big discount though, or enough people johnH, isnt that why we didnt bother? If you want to start a Pschleager list, i'll happily do the leg work with him.
