Which one were you at, the Smithfield one or the new one?
What food did you have - and what happened that the service was bad?
Me and ms.chris have been to both of them, never had any problems...

I've been to both on several occasions although its been a few years since I've been to the smithfield one. I've never had a problem with service and the food has always been excellent so hopefully it was just a one off.
Also me and Shelby will be busy moving into our new flat so we wont be able to make it tomorrow if its still on. -

Oops can't do 26th or 2nd. Third time lucky for me I think!

Right, I don't get the impression that this is happening tomorrow, which is just as well, as I just found out I can't make it, either. 2nd (next Sunday) or 9th June? Preferences, please.

Holborn. I had a soup for starter, which was a bit anonymous, and a seitan kebab, which didn't say too much for itself either. There was a group of 8 of us, the service was ridiculously slow, to get their attention you had to go and find the staff, we were ordering drinks, glasses, cutlery which didn't arrive and when the main courses arrived, they'd forgotten to make mine and I had to start my meal as everyone else was finishing theirs.
It didn't ruin the evening, just not impressive and the general consensus was that it didn't inspire us to rush back. On the other hand, tried 222 VeggieVegan last week which was excellent, both service and food.

I could do next Sunday (2nd) if it's not crazy far from stokey and starting relatively early?
But I'll be working that day so not on the ride if that's part of it.

Def cant do 2nd, 9th should be ok.
Would have probably been a no show yesterday - the ride got a bit epic and we only got back round 3! -

Any more votes for the 9th?

By the way, I have a feeling that the idea of riding out to Harrow isn't all that popular. Am I right? Why don't we cut out over-planning and simply meet there at noon or 1 and loosely envisage the possibility of going for a ride afterwards, dependent on weather and such?

I also note from The Vegan that from the 7th until the 9th June is 'VDelicious', a veg*n food show at the Olympia. If you're a Vegan Society member, they offer free admission at:

If there continues to be limited enthusiasm for making the trek out to Harrow, we might have to think about something more central. :)
Despite mixed reviews lately, Amico Bio might well be another option.

Actually, it turns out that link probably works for anyone.
Disclaimer: No idea if it's worth going to, but I generally like it if there are more such events besides the traditional Animal Aid stuff.

Me and Shelby are still up for riding to Harrow but Im also quite happy to just do Amico Bio. Had dinner there again tonight (pizza of course) and it was excellent.

I'm meant to be working that day (Sat 29th) but my roster could change between now and then. If I somehow get the day off I'll definitely be attending!

Who's up for riding to Harrow for Karma Free pizza? I want to go before its winter for the next 6 months.
I know Lucy is in Aus (when are you back?) so we could make it for a few weeks/early October? Saturday 28th/5th October? Or would everyone prefer a Sunday?
I was at Amicobio last Fri for the first time, the food was mediocre and the service truly appalling. Embarrassingly bad. Is the general opinion that we got unlucky?
