  • today was lovely!

who's up for riding to karma free pizza sometime then? :) i've been before, the stuffed crust is mental.

  • Has anyone been to otto in notting hill? Im pretty keen to try it as they make their own vegan cashew cheese. Otherwise Id totally be down for a ride to harrow if theres pizza involved haha
Also had a reallu great time despite the rubbish weather and eating far too much pizza ;p

  • What a lovely afternoon. Only just got back from the pub. Great to see you all!

  • Today was awesome, food, company and riding was great- nice to meet everyone nad I'm already thinking about the next one

  • Likewise, thanks to the Walworth crew for the hosting, hope I didnt yap on too much, I tend to do that when I'm nervous and meeting new people in a group for the first time! Maybe next time either me or ms.chris will be able to stick around for a spin.

  • not at all!! lovely to see you and i hope you three (two and a half?) had a good time :)

jamie i've got a recipe for cashew cheese and it's ricidulous/incredible. i'll find it and post it on here for sure. and no i've not been to otto!

  • oh also you're welcome to borrow those books any time - just let me know and i'll bring them along.

  • ^Yes please do Lucy, I've always wanted to have a stab at making my own vegan cheese.

  • It was lovely to meet Cillian (sp?)!

    Two 'l's or only one?

  • Great to see you all. Up for the Harrow run!

  • So when's the next one?

  • Bit late to this but Sunday was great, thanks everyone. Shame about the weather but I guess it cannot be helped.

Harrow looks like a bloody trek, but well worth it seeing as pizza is involved. Should we make it for a few weeks time? Either the 26th of May or 2nd of June?

  • 26th better for me but will have to double check.

I'd be up for this Sunday (26th), vaguely planning something else on the 2nd (but that can be changed, I think).

The pizzeria sounds good. I think we should take an innovative route to Harrow--straight up the Harrow Road isn't that great. I'm happy to lead a longer, meandering ride there if that's what people want? Or should we meet in Harrow and then ride back to Central London together? Where's everybody starting out from?

  • Im in your neck of the woods

  • Slightly off topic but I just had a fantastic vegan pizza at amico bio in holborn. I've been there a few times before but never went for the pizza as I assumed it would be without cheese but in fact they use mozarizella (rice based vegan mozzarella) . We should definitely add it to the list of future pizza meet up locations.

  • i went to amico bio this week too!! i had the gnocchi and rice milk mozzarella it was OUTSTANDING. who would have thought rice could make something so incredible/not rice-like?!

also is this sunday still on? it seems to have crept up a bit. i can do 26th or 2nd / any date really. happy to have a meandering route too.

  • Well, I had suggested amico bio + the smithfield nocturne a while back but heyyy....
If this sunday is on, I'd need to do a bit later than last time as am planning to do a ca 5 hour ride starting at 7.30 + will need to go home and change & change bikes....
