London drew with benelux, WTF!

wouldn't mind a blow by blow of the england v germany game.
We started really well, went four or five - nil up. Unfortunately then David + Mo Polosynthese came on and had the laser sights on - they scored 9 of Germany's 11 goals.
Tight, physical games against Italy and Spain. -

Awesome work in progress England - some amazingly tight scorelines! Looks like there could be an epic showdown with LDN later.... :-)

Holy crap, Switzerland 26:6 Italy
How long are the games, 38 minutes? That's a goal every 90 seconds, that's incredible over that period of time.
Also well done Josh, 14 goals, joint 4th scorer.
Looks like Switzerland - France, second last game could be a huge one.

Photo's of Matt's sketchy moment already?
Yeah I heard about this!
Mat said he'd sliced the bolts + axle ends off his hubs in a big crash! -
• #320
not crashing would avoid that outcome.

or if both I and French Marc hadn't been so committed...sometimes all I want is the ball!
Surprised Marc's bike didnt split in half considering the head tube was zip tided to the top tube...result of a previous crash.

awesome tourney.
bench minors is so much fun.
I think we got the right result, the four teams that finished above us had much stronger squads. We knew that weeks ago. Practice paid off when we were calm and thinking about our game. Tactics were effective when we applied them. Had a great time.
England were amazing as well.

Great tournament to be a part of. Thanks to Karlsruhe. Shame they didn't really get going, it would have been nice for them to win a few games.
The final was incredible to watch. 38 minutes of fast, committed but almost 100% clean polo. Switzerland led for ages, but then Marc scored a few crucial goals mainly from long range on an open net.
Nice to get to meet more people and chat over schnitzel.

Yeah weekend was an awesome polo pick me up. Great to catch up with the eu scene and see who's improving. France were amazing. They played as a complete team, with each player showing moments of great flair and skill.
Big thanks to...
Karlsruhe for putting on such a well organized tourney again. Attention to detail was spot on and the hospitality always welcoming.
Steffen for putting a bunch of us up - you got a lovely place.
Coach Chan and rest of Changland. Was fun to play with you all. We had so many great games that entertained the crowd, with tight results against Germany, spain and London. Felt only France outplayed us. Alex was on fire and great moments from others esp Chris and woddy and of course Yorgo helped with team style points in his sexy white ladies shorts.
I still feel the bm format needs to be tweaked a bit but it was fun to be a part of.
London bm league 4?

Thanks KA, Especially Hannes of course. I can't believe you hosted us and now your continuing all week. A great tournament, fantastic facilities of course. Nice to see all the european scene and drink and spill with them. The BM format was really fun and when we played well we played really well, when we didnt lock up or pass proper, we suffered. I like the idea of league 4 being BM. It might actually bring us together rather than push us apart, which is what the competition of the LL seems to do. The French were all top quality of course, but more than that they played with fraternite.
yup. same results popped on pignonfixe.com. what about england-benelux and england - spain ???
