If you don't like the rules, don't go.

Ok ok,
So, the "fuck" word is a joke.
I found my sis', who play polo since 6 months and know well the Swiss community, is ok to be the GM. But i think that's an exception, and maybe the GM don't play rule isn't a good solution for those who don't have sisters who play and know polo. -

You can have a much wider and more effective impact on a game as a manager than as a player. The manager will be active in the game for the whole running time, as a player you will not play anywhere near the whole running time.
I would travel abroad to manage a BM team.

I probably would as well.

Maybe we should appoint managers from London then as there seems to be plenty of us who would be up for it.
8 teams, 8 managers, lucky dip for who get's to manage which team.

I would suggest, let the country have their own manager, if someone from said country is willing to travel for this purpose, otherwise, someone from London can manage the team.

although I would wager that it would be very hard to manage a team of players that you do not know well enough to talk frankly to, and language barriers could be an issue.

Nice! Glad you got it sorted.
If you don't like the rules, don't go.
Count it.

Exactly! I'm not just doing this to be awkward.

Yep, as i said before. If someone from your country doesnt want to travel to manage your country, i'm sure England will do just a good job of managing you. But do you want an Englishman managing your country?
look super cool, you have an idea when in january..?
Thanks
