I think the tiny wheels would be horrible on anything either soft or bumpy, so no going off-piste.

Possibly. I was thinking urban winter riding TBH.

I'd probably rather walk than ride that thing!

Anybody feeling rich? It's a Moots, so I don't dare look at the price.
Bit of a spacer stack there.

Very nice.
I worry that the quest for a dishless wheel, will leave you with zero bracing angle with certain fat rims.
-
• #1089
what about crossing the spokes onto the other side like they do on motorbikes?
-
• #1090
That works well. Seen a fat IGH wheel built that way.
Still considering it as one of the alternatives to the heavy amount of dish on my fat lefty wheel.

I was designing my Fatbike at around the same time as this was being developed (takes me the same amount of time for me to put together one bike, as On-one takes to bring a complete commercial bike to the market. No, longer). Under the low-key looks are a lot of very well thought out features. The geometry is well suited for fat trail riding, the headtube is oversized for furture fork delopments, or angleset use, the rims arent massive at 70mm, which gives a more trail friendly 4" tyre profile while reducing the chance of them getting bashed. The tyres themselves are nicely aggresive (well its hardly a gravel path bike), while not going as for as the Surly Nates. Good comprimise of weight, fast rolling, and grip (guessing by looks).
Its a bloody nice bike.

I think yours is gearing up to be something a bit special though!

The price of the On-One is low enough to lure people in who probably have no need for one, so expect to see me selling one in February.

I'm going to lobby my dad to put it on family expenses and to station it at our chalet in the alps, just for commuting to the slopes... haha

That frame with shock is $3k
That fork is something like $1k
Rolhoff is $$$
Fat wheel set is $$$Nice but pricey in the extreme.
Seen a few bikes rocking surly bud and lous recently. Bonkers, but so cool. Seriously considering trying get to get them to work on my fatty hardtail for the summer.
Thats not as silly as it looks. Stick a few studs in the tyres, and it'd be perfect. Much easier to adjust your balance and weight distribution on a BMX.
Fat sand bikes do a similar looking kids bike. I'd love to get one for my 6 year old but availibility is very low.
