I believe between 15mph and 20mph max. But you're right that it could have a patch of oil. I will see if any more slips happens again, but I have a feeling that the big wall is not doing any favour to the tyre while cornering in my opinion. Anyone else had the same feeling?

The big wall is probably the least of it's problems. It will be a combination of rubber compound and tread pattern. The more tread a bicycle tyre has (for road use) the worse it will grip. Less rubber on the road as the tread makes gaps, and more squirm from the tread blocks.
As the tyre is made for puncture resistance, cornering grip is probably placed low on it's priorities I would imagine.

yeah the berlin sucks
apart from having skidded through in a week, it is horrible in the wet..
would hate to think what it would be like with less than 18 skid patches
Speed needs to be adjusted to grip. You don't just fling yourself around a corner at whatever speed you want and hope you stay upright. If you've not tested the grip of the tyres or failed to account for slippery road surface then it's not their fault. MTB semi slicks (with knobs on the sides) and tyres with ridges are somewhat unpredictable handlers and should be treated that way.
