They've got a nice line in jaunty outfits, flouncy decorum, tight-arsed etiquette and entrenched incest though

Still.
good wedding, lovely. s'what we all need, init. Cameron can personally claim credit for the feel-good wave the UK will be on, the media can build up to it for 9 months and then review it for 6 months, everyone's a winner.

I am not sure the media will be able to get away with it so easily. Judging from the comments on its website the BBC has already misjudged its audience's interest. Having headlines of the "world delights in royal wedding" type just makes it look silly. But then the BBC does seem to think the royal family is beyond the scope of journalism anyway.
More than anything everyone now knows that Charles and Diana's marriage was a sordid fiasco (the fact that Harry is not even Charles' son being the most blindingly obvious sign of that) so all this 'fairytale' bullshit is not going to wash this time. Then there is the question of who is picking up the tab at a time when we are "all in it together". -

fuck the wedding. who gives a toss? they certainly don't give a toss about you.
as soon az liz pops her cloggs i'm booking a holiday. i can't stick around while there's fuck all on the telly apart from glib statements from 'royal watchers' who write for the daily mail and the overdone public outpouring of grief that non believers have to put up with.
it was bad enough when that prick patch diana died. -

I have just checked. You will be reassured to know that this is not universal. Among men anyway.

I have pert (hetrosexual) knees at 49.

I for one, wish wiganwill & kate all the best for their future.
It is wiganwill, right?
-
• #114
Kate is William's 16th cousin, or near enough. 500th cousin is too close for my comfort - this is not correct, normal or acceptable. This is incest.
Say hello to modern royalty - a forward-thinking, relative-stroking, jolly-knees up for all.

Shouldn't you be doing something with your hair? Like, fondling it or something?
Nothing is sagging, thankyou very much. I am like a Greek God. Obviously not one of the beautiful, athletic Greek Gods, more one of the bookish, stay at home Greek Gods, but nonetheless I am* firm*. -

That was a very quick analysis of an entire forum.
I suspect that you are already familiar with it and don't want to fight bigotry, Mr Griffin.
