Fucking useless bastards. Give 'em hell and NEVER settle on their first or second offers. Heal quickly and properly by making sure you utterly obey the advice that the quacks give you.

Ah, the perils of working for "one of London's best courier companies". What were you doing Max, dancing for small change outside a tube station again?
Moonwalking down Brick Lane actually.

Can we kick off about the fact that they're still using the paint even though they know it endangers cyclists lives? This doesn't seem right.
Letter, petition, contact the press? -

Some of the countryside outside of the town was still very lovely, the army training areas near Hankley for example, but.... what do you do other than go ... awww lovely, and then go back home for a large G&T?!
Go for a ride? No?

bah, the valuation people scour the internet for the cheapest price for the parts which seems a fucking joke considering that things are generally cheap because they are only available in a few sizes, and doesn't include postage or fucking labour.
anyhoo, it's going to be cash monies so that is a win. ringing later to grill them on labour.

Letter, petition, contact the press? Is this not like complaining about when you walk down the street and trip over your own feet.
Everybody knows that the paint on roads is slippery when wet. Watch where you are going.
-
• #113
Not sure that's an accurate analogy.
That would bike like falling off your bike because of your pedals, or slipping on the pavement because the concrete was slippery.I was under the impression there's an alternative paint but tfl are being arses and still using the old stuff.
Surely they have a responsibly to make the roads safe to road users?Don't mean to turn your thread in to a debate Josh, but this is LFGSS my friend etc.

What about leaves? what about the manhole cover that's even more dangerous in the wet than a slipperly painted line?
Can see your point (and it is a very debatable one), but I'm kinda siding with Andy on this, how many people do you hear slip on those paint everytime it rain?

User error, IMO.

Fair do's, but why not eliminate one potential threat if we can.

I had to dig the tarmac out of the dropout to loosen the wheel then pull the stays apart to get the rim and tyre through.
