I assume that would be a lot of dough for a unit that does recirc only?

After being royally raped by Hillary blinds 18m ago I shelved getting plantation shutters. But fancy it again. Has anyone in e11/e17 got shutters recently on a boggo Victorian house and who did you use and if you don't mind what was the price action?
@Tenderloin I'm looking at you

Shades of Chingford, circa 6-800 a window.

I got a spare non-official battery from ebay for my set of small Makitas (10.8v) so I could have one in the drill, one in the impact driver, and one on charge. Can't really tell the difference between the official ones and the knock-off apart from the look.

Excellent deal on the Fein Multi-Tool FMM350QSL at Plumb Center at the moment if you can find a branch that has them in stock.

• #9459
Roughly how much are we talking?
-
• #9460
I think that link said about £120 before they changed it which is very cheap for a Fein.
-
• #9461
Fark, missed out on the last one anywhere by 10 minutes.
-
• #9462
Yeah, it's gone. £118 was a great price so I can understand why.
Glad I bought mine yesterday!

The Fein Multimaster attachments fit my Bosch cordless, so I'm quite happy with that. It's a nice upgrade.

Is there a diy projects thread?
Anyway, I've started to put together my scratch built effort.
It's feeling a bit over-engineered so far but at least it won't blow away..
The actual site is behind the camera and is raised half a metre off the decking. 2*2.2m in total.
H&S dog approves of the work completed.

Hi, this is my first post on lfgss in a long time, but I hope you guys could possibly save me from trawling google looking for a suitable part for a bike hanging rack I'm thinking of making. I'm just getting into DIY so it's pretty basic but should work well.
We have a long but narrow corridor at the entrance to our studio, where all our bikes get piled up in a big mess. Something like this made of scaffolding pole (which I already have) I think could do the trick by hanging bikes by their front wheel off the rail like curtains, so you could push them up as necessary to fit more bikes in. There can be alot of bikes sometimes.
Does anyone have a good idea for what to use for the hooks? (As I am writing this meat hooks just popped into my head, but i've written it now... and someone might have a better idea)
EDIT: it's a low ceiling so a meat hook may hang too low
ta :)

Thats basically what Rapha have at their cafes but the hooks as per your illustration would mean the bikes hanging side on. Whereas its more space efficient for them to be side on

Make sure the loops of the hooks are large enough to twist a little so that bikes can hang at a bit of an angle, allowing more room to pass. (as per Tenderloin's point)
Also ensure the hook and pipe materials are slick enough to easily allow movement. -

@diable do you think the weight would be a problem? it'd be attached to a brick wall with something like this
@Mr_Sworld they look pretty good actually, thanks! could do the trick, depending if the bolt tightens and loosens easily enough. looks like it'd risk falling off without using the bolts though
EDIT @tenderloin @withered_preacher I only just saw your posts after replying... I see what you mean. I had that in mind when i thought of this, i found these which I thought would allow the bikes to move a bit and stack sort of diagonally

They are used for gigs, theatres, tv etc. They tighten and loosen easily and the wing bolt is used to keep them exactly in one place. They work fine without being tightened all the way up.
Anyone have or installed Caple products? Heavy vibing on their extractors and hobs.
