Been in the NME, MM, Select, Guardian, Independent, Daily Record, Sun, and Star.
Been on Radio 1, BBC Radio Coventry & Warwickshire, KEXP, and BBC Radio London.
Been in a few music videos, most notably for Elastica (2 videos, 1 of which was used globally and had A-list on MTV).
Got my name on the back of many records, both LP's and singles.
Have a few discs hanging in my hallway (the gold and silver kind).I was part of the blagging crew known as Menswear before people took it seriously and a real band emerged from it. Also worked closely with Elastica, Belle & Sebastian and unfortunately Snow Patrol. Owned a record label which released a single that got into Peel's Festive 50 (with a band called Sodastream).
Though even better than all of that, I once sold the Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy album to Paul McCartney. And I once fell out* of a girl's** flat in Chelsea into the path of Lou Reed. Which are much better claims to fame than stuff I actually worked with.
- I had to get out before her parents realised I'd stayed over.
** I don't recall her name, she had curly hair tho'.
Not bad I suppose, but I've left my trump card in my back pocket. I went back stage to meet Cannon & Ball in 1985. Read it and weap....read it and weap

I was once named as one of the twelve leading insurance and reinsurance lawyers in the world.
I told my mother. She was not impressed.

Who was it who cooked at your 40th birthday party?
And why weren't we all invited?

I'm not sure if Global Reinsurance TV on the internet really counts as television. Or are you alluding to my appearance on Chelsea TV back in 2002?

Natalie Imbruglia stole my seat at a party, and, not knowing who she was, I asked her to 'budge up'. She moved quite a long way :(

Because it was south of the river and, as you say, your appearances this side are only ever virtual...

Yeah, Global Re..thingy..
Essential watching for all involved in the exiting world of Global Reinsurance, and even those who have a slight curiousness of it.

I was on a radio phone-in show as the panel expert on Christmas presents.
Caller: What can I give my uncle Brian - he hates everything.
V-R: Have you tried knitting him a scarf - people always appreciate the extra effort of homemade presents etc, etc. -

was on bbc breakfast news back in the day to discuss teenage drug taking in the knee jerk reaction to the death of leah betts, I basically said people take drugs to make them feel good, and she was no different, she was just unlucky in that her third time lead to her death.
