I havent seen the total domination of the board i have become accustomed to.It's like a flounce but I come back now and again to merge and swear.
It's my version of a methodone program. -

Sounds like fun! How long is the race, can't see much detail on the link. Anyone know what the course is like, could I do it on a paddy wagon?
-
• #54
You could, and don't forget to let me know where you are so I can watch you fail catastrophically.

Ed,
what about staying in this?
-
• #56
I slept in my car at SSWC in Castlemaine. Booze helps.

Do I need an Oyster card to access the television?

I don't think Ed would like the fork.

I'll be rocking a Rush jersey (hoser-rock 4 lyf). Cheese cake will be riding one of those wacky Gary Fisher 29ers.

I'll most likely be wearing a full Ferrari-Colnago kit on the gorgeous baby blue Haro Mary.

Has anyone heard from Mick since that^?
Getting worried.

Hah! Awesome course, best trail i've ridden yet. Wish I could've stayed a few days more and explored the other trails. Did hurt my confidence being overtaken by a badger though. Luckily everything went relatively well as there were quite a few things that got messed up with my organisation, as you can see from the following photo, the lenses from my glasses was on that list...

Hah! They were surprisingly effective, here's a video of the loop:

Some lovely bermed sections and a ton of awesome climbs, some amazing views of the mountains too.
-
• #72
Phew, I feared you might have been lost in an ABBA-induced dancing craze. :)
-
• #73
Not ABBA, but there was a Village People dance craze before the start!

The pre-race DJ was appalling, and leaving near the back of the pack must've cost me 15 minutes compared to earlier starters. I could've run the single track and North Shore sections quicker than most of the people seemed to be riding them.
Also, having an ex-World Cup stage (DH & XC!) winner win? cough Ringer cough
Disappointed Ed wasn't there to do it on his Globe though.
