  • There's nothing in the diary 'til August 4th, enjoying my time off immensely... I'll be bored shitless by next week, betcha...

  • I'm developing a man crush on Thor. He's dishy.

    Lol face

  • I have a a feeling this might be Cadel's year...

    I will take this bet.

  • Dead ringer for Dale's voice, kinda like an Aussie Mickey Mouse... I'll probably be in LMNH for viewing today...

He sort of looks like him as well. Top half of the head? I posted it in celebrity look-a-likes once.

  • dreamy

  • If you like being stabbed in the face when you kiss.

  • tease

  • Dicks

    Been done.

I'm in the process of getting big day-glo T-shirts with...

    FUCKING LOOK AT ME!
    I AM IMPORTANT, CNUTZ!

...printed on. So the ICU officals can wear them for attension, and leave the tour alone.'

  • Biggest load of crap ever, this quote summed it up pretty nicely;

“The whole season you’ve ruled like this (with last-minute decisions and poor communication with the teams),” Bruyneel complained. “We spend thousands each year in the wind tunnel and today in front of the world’s press, at the most important race of the year, you do this!”

    I'm only jealous...

Have a cold one for me!

  • Cadel Evans truly has a bizarre face. A bit like Michael Jackson in his later years but with an enormous chin dimple...

Steroids & EPO will do that to a face....

  • Evans has been really impressive this year, but some other riders are shining too.
Hushovd - awesome display of power yesterday. He must have dug deeper than any sprint finish to keep up like that.

Geraint Thomas - ripping it up in the sprints and the climbs! He's got the perfect all-rounder physique too. One to watch for the future, for sure.

Anyway, today will be awesome if echelons form. Could be one for the lesser sprinters. Swift, possibly, if Sky manage to snap the string and form a big break.

Snacks last night were olives and another Guinness, by the way.

I feel the fact that he is'nt out for green. has really freed him up.

He appears to be simply relishing the competition, and the champ strips just seem to suit him. He certainly doing them justice. FTR I think Cadel wore them well, too.

  • tenner each on Evans and Schleck. Schleck mainly to get my money back...

  • Can anyone draw a picture of how cavendish could have avoided the contact. I'm still at a loss as to why they would disqualify both when neither gained or lost anything from it.
    Damn french refs

  • The IoM is still at war with France. FACT.

The issue is that they were fighting for position.

The French refs insist that both riders should be surrendering for position.

Next year, the flamme rouge is going to be the flamme blanc, and when the peloton rides under it they immediately give up their bikes and sit in a camp for the remaining three weeks.

Long memorys. Maybe they still havent forgiven Rollo either.

*As elsewhere in northwest Europe, Viking raids on the coast of France gradually evolve into settlement. During the last decades of the 9th century, Danes are in possession of the territory round the lower reaches of the Seine. Early in the 10th century they are joined by a Norwegian who has already distinguished himself adventuring in Scotland and Ireland. His name is Hrölfr. He is known in western history as Rollo the Ganger. *

*Rollo becomes leader of the Seine Vikings and by 911 he is strong enough to besiege the French city of Chartres. The siege ends when the Frankish king, Charles III, agrees at St. Clair-sur-Epte to grant Rollo *feudal rights* over the territory round Rouen. *

...preferably blocking goods vehicles from entering the channel tunnel.

  • Just seen Chris Boardman doing a preview of yesterdays climb on ... an unbranded bike .... hmmm.

Also, apparently Thor said he would take full responsibility for the DQ of himself and Cav. Doesn't change anything, but nice all the same.

Yeah. Apparantly Cav called him a gentleman in his twitter.

    Bit of a bro-mance really.

An unbranded* Boardman* bike. Might be a proto.

  • That unbranded Boardman actually looks rather nice to me, though I have got a crush on stealth at the moment

Who'd be the 'top' in that relationship?

Can't see either of them rolling over and taking it...
