who can explain to me what the breakaway group is all about? I have never seen a stage where it appeared to make much difference to the final result.
One factor is that if your team gets a rider in the break you don't have to chase in the pack.
But mainly its advertising, as already said.

Cadel Evans truly has a bizarre face. A bit like Michael Jackson in his later years but with an enormous chin dimple...

I'm developing a man crush on Thor. He's dishy.

the boardman/halfords break bumpers will cause me to break a tv at some point over the course of the tour. I know Boardman's the brand, but fuck me, he can't emote whilst delivering his lines.
Ps. I'm thinking of using the term "natural break" everytime I need to go for a piss..
The frequency of them is what's irritating me, even more often than terrestrial ITV
Agreed, absolutely cold - makes Nigel Mansel sound like Stuart Hall
The only advert I quite enjoy is the Skoda one. It's like a new take on car adverts.

Bang! Cadel! Fuck yeah.
Pity he didn't get that second on Thor but he should be able to get yellow laterz.
Kinda wanted Gilbo to get today but this is good.
This is gonna help my team - 'bumfaceforyellow' ftw!

Yeah, he looks seriously strong, despite talking like a little girl who's lost her dolly. I have Schleck as team captain in my fantasy team, but put money on a top 3 finish for Cadel. So I'm easy either way.

Sorry, but watching him beast some seriously powerful opponents up to the finish. Then hearing him interviewed........

Dead ringer for Dale's voice, kinda like an Aussie Mickey Mouse... I'll probably be in LMNH for viewing today...

where's good to bet on TdF?
Everwhere outside of Norway.5 decent sites refused me an account, due to local regs. Then the local betting site I jioned, had poor odds and a rubbish selection of betting options for the TdF.
Still managed to blow about £60 though.
This looked a good site.

The site I listed has Coral giving 7:1 for that.

I'm not sure Evans can beat both Contradope, and Schleck in the mountains BTW.

neither am I, but it'll make for good entertainment at least

^ this.
He's going to look like he's humping the hell out of his stem on the way up the hills, while making a face like a bulldog biting a small child.
G'wan Cadel.

Very impressed by Evans work rate so far. He seems focused and strong, a year in the Rainbow jersey seems to have done him a world of good. I don't think anyone can accuse him of being a wheel sucker so far this year. Awesome effort by the entire BMC team really, Hincappie put in a mighty effort in the 2 km to the base of the finishing climb.

Now if he can just sort out his chain of bike shops...

Euro summer break init.
This. Contador for the win.
Still nice to see Evans get the stage.
Anyone but a Schleck.
