eurostar paris to london at 1713.

• #106
So who wants to join me in riding back to Dieppe on the Sunday for the evening ferry?
-
• #107
That would be the option i'd favour, but still unsure if i can fit this trip in at the moment. Will stop umming and ahhing by the weekend.

Might do that if Pifko can't get the Mon and Tues off work, and if my knee can put up with 2 days of beating. -

Just take more drugs!
My knuckles have been bleeding for the past week... without me punching anyone. I don't want any 'brain zaps' either. :p

do you have accomodation lined up in paris?
-
• #112
^ Yeah, have you got prices/details, Andy?
@ Matt, what time are you looking to depart London on the Friday?
-
• #113
I haven't got accomodation sorted yet, there is somewhere that Sophie suggested, which I'll look into.
Last time we stayed in a Formula 1, very basic (communal showers/toilets, rubbish breakfast) but they let us put the bikes in the luggage room and it was only about £30. -

london departure time still under discussion.
i propose leaving at 5pm.
ferry leaves at 11 and we should leave an hour or so for check in.
if we left at 5 we'd have 5 hours to get to newhaven by 10 - plenty of time. -
• #115
if you guys are deffo riding back i'll try and get a refund on my eurostar ticket and join you (if thats ok).
-
• #116
oh yeah - lets meet asap and plan. seems so much easier if all or most of us could meet and discuss.
arrangements via mail or forum are kinda fragmented.
i guess one could ask one's pa to coordinate but it wuld be kind of cheeky. -
• #117
I haven't booked anything yet as I wanted to see if anyone else was going to ride back before I do.
Ride this weekend to meet and talk some of it through? (could combine with London-Worthing-London you mentioned on PBP thread?)
-
• #118
That sounds good. 1st long ride in at least a month for me, so if all seems well on 100+, i'll commit to riding back.
-
• #119

Saturday would work for me, preferably not getting back too late!
-
• #121
Worthing would be my vote, and early on Sat, as i'm hoping to ride overnight as a Vampire n shit to Brighton later.

Sounds good.
checks trains
No trains between Oxford and Didcot on Saturday... FFS! Right, it'll have to be an early start for me then. Ride to Didcot then train to Paddington it'll have to be!
Where shall we meet?
Sam, meet at paddington before rolling down to the meeting point? (I won't miss the train this time!)

i could meet you at paddington and ride down from there (im in ealing)
i like your attitude arducius!
