Got my TT02B built up - just need to trim the body posts and add decals.

It’s currently stock, apart from bearings. And I’ve got a box (and list) of hop-ups to slowly add in time.

I’m not going box art on this as you can probably tell! I was going to go black/gold like John Player Special, but then I thought with the white shocks and white tyre writing… black and white.

I have a sheet of “TAMIYA” stickers in black and white and the box art decals includes chequered flag sections which I might also give a go.

(I want to smoke the windows as well)

How will you smoke the windows? could you buy a sample of window tint film and install it? I also wonder could you do custom decals with the like of a Cricut joy vinyl machine..

Tamiya Smoke paint. I’ve never used it though - not sure how good it is.

Are those vinyl cutting machines expensive?

about £100 second hand.. I have one and it's great for little projects.. I've done T-shirts etc with iron on vinyl and also bike transfers etc..

Now you’ve piqued my interest!

Can’t get the video to work, mate.

I’ve just bought a Kyosho Tomahawk while there are some in stock somewhere. Don’t intend to build it any time soon, but I think they’re becoming elusive investments (probably because of buyers like me).

I keep thinking I'll go the LiPo route, but NiMH is so much easier to maintain.

What are your thoughts?

I think Li Po gives you about 3 times the juice.

It's just whether your cooling can handle it.

I must have gone through about 3 motors now. 😁

You can have fun with either, but LiPo supplies more power consistently across charge, and at a much lower weight. It is a bit of a faff though.
